Herb, so sorry to hear and it has been going on in surrounding towns near us. The hail in Hot Springs postponed our travel or we could have been trying to maneuver through all that mess. Well, you're save, and that counts a bunch.
Come on down. We're dry for now. Went by your rv spot in Galveston and it was half full (or empty depending on your perspective). Fishtales is still servin'. Catfish is still the same in Dickinson. You're missing out.
Hopefully we will get on the road in a couple weeks.

Wayne I really wish we could but we are pretty much home bound till first of July then we hit the road headed West. Maybe we can catch up to you guys in Bryce. Can't say yet cause I have several things to do in Cally first.
Steve don't worry my friend I won't go out without being covered in Deet!

Two of Annies favorite restaurants in Austin MN are closed on Sunday. We had Mexican food instead - and visited family. On the way home we stopped at Diamond Jo... it was a toss up there but every thing else was 777s...

Wayne - we'll be going by Bago tomorrow and leaving notes around the place with your name on them.

Are ya'll remembering to leave monkeys from your barrel of monkeys around at some of these spots you have found to be mutant worthy?

I left one at a friend's yarn shop, and then a second one when she opened a branch. When she retired last winter, she declared she was keeping her monkeys. No argument about it. 😎
Will remember again for cg's.
PS: I have a couple extra barrels, or you can get them online (of course!)

Oceanside works but not sure we can get there by the 4th. Depends on when my partner gets back from his vacation. I will look into that! Would love to see you guys and cheap works for me. But then I get that from the people we hang with!

Steve's comments about leaving notes around reminded me... not that I've been anywhere camping since Drifter's....

Morning muties, looks like 3-4 days with little or no chance of rain! Get my truck out of shop tomorrow after over 2 weeks.
Meeting lots of great people at the park this year and IRV2 should have me on their payroll as I enlighten these folks to the advantage this forum has over the others. Oh yeah, I mention you mutants too!
Spent about an hour the other night in the restrooms, due to storms, with several couples including one couple from Spain. They had flown into Dallas and picked up an RV and was traveling around. At least that's what I thought they said!
Have a great day!
