Papaw, ain't it great to watch kids and their sports? Specially when they excel at them.
Mr Malone, glad you and the missus is back aboard!
Speaking of back, Red came home today! Woot.

[QUOTE=CampDaven;2586405]Papaw, ain't it great to watch kids and their sports? Specially when they excel at them.
He plays on a team of second graders. They are a stitch to watch. Boys not having any clue of what to do (don't watch what's going on out on the field now or apparently any time in the past), the ball is so elusive that the pitcher's helper misses it, the shortstop misses it , and the left-center fielder misses it (the ball was rolling fairly slowly past all of them).
Funniest are the poor little souls that are asked to catch behind the plate. No clue that their job is to catch the ball or at least flag it down. Some strike a pose, catcher style, and don't move a muscle. Just hunker down in a squat and watch the ball go by. They will get hit in the mask with a coach's pitched ball and not even wince. Just sit there like Buddha.
Score 28-24 or 22-18 in an hour and a half of gut busting fun. All of this frustrates Austin. He's out there analyzing every situation, miscue, and lack of baseball knowledge. He saves his opinion for the ride home.
Funny stuff. Parents are screaming praise, encouragement, and shreeks of disbelief as the carnage is played out.
