Come early, Dwayne. You'll have to teach me how. Judy H might bring us one or 2 of the turtles her dog keeps dragging home. 😁

No snappers, tho. I'm told they stink. Stinky turtle = stinky soup?

Sue... tell me more about that allergy thing... we could easily go back or keep our eyes peeled for another down the road.

Salt lamp, Himalayan pink salt, pink rock salt...they go by different names. Amazon and Google both get you there. Make sure it's the lamp, not the culinary salt (for this purpose).

It sounds like snake oil, but truly is not: heating the salt releases ions into the air. The ions, being charged particles, attract pollens and dust particles in the air and bind to them. The particles are now too heavy to float, so they settle to the floor.

My symptoms disappeared w/in 2 days. Others I loaned my lamp to have said they were much improved in that time. Now, who was it at ReduxCL? Mel? Jackie? (Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!)

Exactly! That's what I was listening for. 😱 😳 😅 😴😴😴

Y'all okay up there? That storm was longer and worser (!) north of town than here.

What's that thing-a-ma-jig across the hood with the holes in it? Is that where you mount the .50 Cal?

Hmmm! Does it come with salt or is that something you have to add?

Earlene informed me that I was getting "slammed" on Facebook. Well, I don't do Facebook. Here's why:

FACEBOOK: Where pointless information is shared with friends you don't know!

Maybe true for some. Not for me.
I use FB, and here's why:
Only real friends and family.
It's good to be informed BY them and also be able inform them. It is a superb source of important info and great pics of cute nieces, nephews, grandkids, siblings, cousins, surrogate grand children, etc.

It is the rock salt itself, carved, with a heat source inside or under it. Little ones hold tea lights, others come as chunks in a basket, light bulb underneath.

Mine is a rough column of the salt set on a base, w/ a rheostat in the cord to vary the light as needed. The rheostat stays on high all the time, since it isn't in the bedroom and since it needs to take care of the whole 2-story house.

It's real salt. I've licked it. 😜
