The new neighbors are rolling in for the night, along with a little cloud cover.

We went and looked at a 2007 Winnebago 40TD Vectra tonight. It was looking very promising until we opened a bathroom cabinet and saw water stains running down the wall. It's a little older than we want, but almost everything else was in good shape. It needs new flooring, mostly because I hate carpets. It also said in the ad that it had solar panels. Not so, sadly. The owner didn't know much about his rig, and couldn't answer a lot of my questions, even though he is the original owner.

We aren't looking hard, but Ms. Mary is convinced that we need a bigger MH. On to the next rig...

So is 40' big enough Elizabeth???

Keep us in the loop. I have been looking for future reference but I can't a floor plan I like any better. Bonita may get new flooring... not really too much we would change - but next if there is another - the generator will be on a slide. And I think we would go for stackable washer / dryer. Other than that we like the bath and 1/2 and would want that again.

Mutant Update: Starlog 061915:10:50

We are pleased to report the expedient arrival of the USS UPS, who was charged with delivering our 9 hole drop hitch.

Much to our surprise, the port of landing charged us an additional $170.00, citing that it was not their fault our departure vehicle was too tall for the hitch they told me would work.

I regarded this measure as out cue to leave port before the grumpkins came around to request more gold from us.

Not knowing how well the supplied part would operate, we retained a speed of under warp, something around 65 parseks... but safely arrived at our new port in the planetary system oddly named Louisiana .

We docked at an individual port located off the planet Lake Ponchetrain, but it took us quite some time to make our final docking as an asteroid field, aptly called "horrible traffic because of an accident and road construction", which delayed out final 1 parsek by over an hour.

Upon arrival, we found docking space in an assigned location by the local planetary police which left much to be desired in the way of docking. We found our path in reverse blocked by obstacles that required several attempts at docking.

We were hassled and hounded by the shoutings of nearby standyerby's who falsely tried to interject their own thoughts about how to dock, but only made matters worse.

Eventually, docking was successful, and the crew then enjoyed the many benefits of the local township, to include fresh cooked burgers, and many rounds of the local ale.

I've seen a couple of rigs like that, very impressive and handy when pulling a 5th wheeler.

We searched hard, but all of the romulan occupation was cleared out. We happened upon some Belgium lager however, and much was consumed in merriment.
