Nola and I thank you all very much for the Anniversary wishes!
For the record: it was all her idea. Really! Therefore, it is also all her fault. A no-fault marriage!

I won't know for sure until the 1st cup is down... if it doesn't clear the fog, it's either another cup, or back to bed... lol. Mutation at its finest.

Steve, we had summa dat howling wind last night too. Kept me awake all of 5 minutes maybe. No rain, no hail (praises be), no tree branches flying through the air, just noisy. Glad none of us got knocked off our rockers!

The wind night before last was clocked at 100 mph at Pierre, SD - about 200 miles from here. Straight line wind is scary.

Glad you were spared the clean up and any damage Sue. So when do cross the pond?

Wind like that should rightfully scare anybody! We actually were blown off our blocks once, in a 35' TT, and that wasn't more than 60 or 70 mph.

Early August, Steve, leaving the home guard to keep watch. We'll be zigzagging all over, from SW coast to Scotland and Northumberland to the West Country and then Kent. Mostly by train.

I'm still learning to pack light. 'Tain't easy!

I remember having a wind storm like that come up early one morning and my main awning was out catching wind like a sail and tipping and rocking the coach.

I threw my house coat on, stood on the picnic table and started bringing it in when suddenly the wind blew my house coat open bearing all to the world. I was fully involved and had to keep bringing the awning in with both hands.

Good thing it was semi sunrise and all were sleeping.

It woulda scared small children! LOL

And then there's your drive from AZ in the howling wind with the new coach... awning flapping in the wind.

Just heard from the insurance company on CR-VMutants supplemental. The final bill was $3k lite... $11,234.00 total. Not sure of we get her back today or tomorrow but we're ahead of schedule. Original date was the 29th.

Some here think that you are already off your rocker; just saying!

I envy you your trip to over'ome and could suggest a tourist attraction if you are headed to the southwest into Devon. I've included the link just in case. http://www.lynton-rail.co.uk/

Hey Muties !!!

Hope y'all are having a great day. We had some of those howling winds yesterday as well, in fact they suspect a twister hit Portland, MI which is just north of us by about 15 miles or so. It's still to close for much comfort, but today its beautiful. I hope yours is too

Cheers !!!
