A long ways from SLC. I'm in northern Idaho along hwy 12 also known as the Lewis & Clark Trail. A little spot on the map called Orofino. Ask Barb how remote we are. There is not even one signal light in the whole county.

They sure sound like dyed in the wool mutants! How fun to have a family RV park!

Orofino is remote. Deb and Dale's place is up a long and winding mountain road and THEN you turn left and and climb some more. Their place is remote enough that I could let car-stupid Lily run free. All 3 of us had a wonderful time there!

One more q. How much wattage in total will you have?
The solar cables are 8 gauge and run to the back of MH. Made a combiner box to tie all the cables together. From there 2 gauge cables run down between the back cap and wall to the engine compartment. The controller is under the bed with the inverter.

Was thinking 600 watts but since price of panels are down went with 900 watts. Basically what I had room for. We have a residential fridge that uses a bit of energy.

Looks great Ed!
Good the way you can tilt your coach on its side I'm guessing to maximize the southern light exposure!
Looking forward to Bryce!

Ed... I'm going to work a savory breakfast crepe filling... saw a recipe for Crepes Benedict... that just might work for this mutant.

Have a great day bud.
Hi Jackie!

Hey everyone, just checking in from Cape May, NJ. All the talk about Bryce Canyon has us a bit jealous, but 4,600 miles worth of diesel fuel and the 3 weeks time is just not in the cards this year. Hope to see you, Dave & Nola before you head out.

There's still time for that lotto ticket to pay off, or the ghost of Ed McMahon to deliver the Publishers Clearing House check... fingers crossed.
