so, Steve... you moving westerly about now?
Hello Mutants.... glad to see everyone is getting in gear. It's gonna be a hot one today, plus have to get moving early... funeral to attend, then dogs to walk and off to w**k.
I'll peek in later to see who else finally woke up...LOL!

Hi Marty! Actually we're southbound... heading down to Grand Island Nebraska to mutate 4 days. Then on to the MMDC Resort for 3 glorious nights. Then westerly into Colorado for a few days. Should be fun.

That is so cool !! Someone else is towing a Honda Element. Obviously only the smart ones like us know the value of that little but unloved SUV style. Once in a while we are approached by someone who would like to buy it. Honda made a big mistake when they discontinued that style.

We are going to run up to I-40, then across to Calif. Trying to avoid the triple digit heat further South and further North. Going to stay out of the Calif. desert as long as possible and the make the last run a little over 300 miles through the desert.

I really don't think the jacks are fixed. We have not had the opportunity to use them. I'll just run up on boards if I have to.

Of course, yes. I'm always the epitome of political correctness. Far be it from me to to be so insensitive as to make light of anyone's width to height ratio, in the center of mass area.

Just noticed your new avatar. Kaboom was always my favorite bugs bunny adversary.

Congratulations, you sure didn't get stuck with cleanup for very long.

Was thinking 600 watts but since price of panels are down went with 900 watts. Basically what I had room for. We have a residential fridge that uses a bit of energy.
Ed,

I had my solar system checked by Handy Bob and he moved my controller closer to my batteries. I respect Bob's opinions because he lives totally off grid and solar is his only power source. My 272 watts has my batteries recharged by noon even on cloudy days.

Here's Bob's blog -- https://handybobsolar.wordpress.com
