Can someone give the Bryce phone number and specific person to talk to? I need to check to be sure we are in the 'right' spots and perhaps change our dates around a bit...

This should do it, Marty. No particular person.

It's a good thing the journey is the destination, 'cause it took us eight hours of driving and stopping to make a 1 1/2 hour trip (fruit stands, dinner, lunch and puppy walking). We did have a really great long weekend stay at the top of Skyline Drive. Great campground, complete with fireworks. And they comped us a night because they messed up and put someone in our reserved site. We moved into it the next day, and with KOA value points we paid $6.92 for four nights.

And this!
Original Post...

Attention Mutants!
I have just blocked 12 sites at
Ruby's Inn - RV Park and Camp Ground just outside Bryce Canyon. (See Link Below).

Dates: Aug. 15th - 23rd - departing the 24th or stay longer if you wish.

I did 8 days because it is a fair distance for many Mutants to journey - and there is lots to see and do. There is no weekly rate - it's fixed at caravan rate.

http://www.brycecanyoncampgrounds.com/

I spoke with Krisette and she is delightful! With 10 or more rigs we get the Caravan Rate of $37.95 + tax.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hour cxl policy no charge, or 1 night rate if less 48 hours notice.

Rubys is Almost - 8000 feet above sea level and will be quite pleasant that time of year.

We are Registered as - wait for it - RVMutants! You may call and reserver your site at any time:
(435) 834-5301

Let us know here when you have made your reservation.

Can ya feel it. There's a buzz in the air... another GC is coming together. First Ever Fall Into End of Summer GC @ Ruby's Bryce Canyon. Formerly know as the place Barb Once Bought a Shower!

The Journey Is Truly the Destination! I'm racking up points for the grand KOA... wherever that is... Santa Barbara.. who knows...

Miss hearing from you...

Going to have to talk to MM about value points at the MMDC...

Yikes!
Good weekend. Comps. Points?
Fruit, meals and puppies?
Big win, ladies!

We were slow rolling today. The Kansas crosswind on 70 was our constant companion. No rain and at 60 mph no problems at all. Great to be in Colorado. 63 degrees and awesome.

Lots of good conversation and mutating at MMDC Resort and Casino - and of course good music. This is one I shared...

Mary and I have got to get by the docs ourselves, like to hear it first hand from a professional just how fat I am! once on the road we have no set itenerary other than the GC@BC and could just pop up anytime!

Sounds good, we can keep the gate open for you.

Please ask to talk to the one that handles the GROUP reservations when you call. When we first called I just talked to the guy who answered the phone and told him several times to put us within the MUTANT group. When I called back after I realized that our site was not within the group, I was told that I needed to ask for the person who does the group reservations.

We are in Missoula MT tonight. We went to eat at a Cracker Barrel. We'd never eaten at one before since this is probably the closest one from our home. I didn't know that they had a little store inside too. It was fun to look around. Tomorrow we head for Bozeman where my DD and two DGS are flying in from GA. Look forward to spending a week with them in Yellowstone.

Woot. Woot.
The Cracker Barrel has become hit or miss - but a good is yummy.

Enjoy the family and Yellowstone!
