Good morning Mutants !!!!!

We are once again in a wet rain, not a downpour, but rain none the less. I see most of the country is having good weather. I hope all of you are having a bright sunny morning and if you are traveling have a pleasant drive.

Cheers !!!!

Shssss, we're sleeping!

But since I'm up now, good morning Liz and tell Mary hello! Got a message a couple weeks back from Tom and Mary, they'll be heading back to Myrtle Beach later this year. They said to tell you two hello if I talked to you!

Ha beat me by a heartbeat there Elizabeth!
Do RVMs take thread breaks?
Will Dirty Dave prove to be the fastest squirt gun West of the Paykoes?
Will Junky Jeff or Wonky Wayne stand up to the challenge?
Will there be BACON at the GC@BCU? (Laughter at silly question)
Great to hear from you, ladies! Hello to those grand Virginia Mountains.

We're going back to Ocean Lakes, too. September 14 - October 1. Can't wait!

Unless it's changed I think Tom and Mary arrive on Sept. 11th for 2wks. They'll be in their same spot. Wish we could make it but the Canyons call us! Plus there's no Sharks in Utah.

Good morning mutants. It was indeed a quiet day in the RVDom yesterday.

The body shop in Sioux Falls apparently reinstalled my Hail of a GC tail lights on CR-Mutant and they were not working correctly in tow mode. So I spent several hours at a local mechanics shop having that fixed. An element on both the left and right tail light bulbs was out. These guys were great. They confirmed all wiring was correct - etc. Hooked up to their truck Tested bulbs and replaced.

http://www.precisionautoworx.com/

So after about 2 hours of trouble shooting the charged me for a 1/2 hour labor and 2 bulbs. $53. Can't imagine what an RV shop might have charged. I gave em $15 bucks and told to start a beer money collection box.

It was then on to Walmart for some provisions. Then lunch and finally off to Urgent Care. This old mutant has apparently developed a basal cell carcinoma on his neck. They wouldn't remove it but put me on an antibiotic and sent me next door. The doc there had left for the day and the receptionist wasn't sure he would treat a traveling mutant - so waiting to hear back today. Seems he is taking only full time patients - and not those who journey. Should get a call any minute with his decision.

So we're waiting and will either continue the hunt or have an appointment set... But did I mention - it's a beautiful day to be in Colorado! It's been overcast and hazy a little rain here and there. Looks great today.

So now we're in a holding pattern trying to determine the next steps.

WHAT!? A doctor that won't treat a traveling patient? CRAP! He needs to be an ER PATIENT! Well...if that is his attitude...you probably can do better anyway.

The medical center and urgent care facilities are new and I suppose he is building his practice and not doing walk in "urgent care". I don't know yet. I did find another Emergency Center linked to a local hospital so I may end up there. Still waiting to hear. The doc that referred me said this guy does lots of these things and was his best recommendation. We shall see what we shall see.

Well... the doc will take care of me at 11:15 today. May need to stay in the area 10 days or so to have stiches removed and pathology results back. Rainbow!
