That's not the best fake bison, but they look like they have shorter back legs because of the huge hump over their shoulders.

Marty,

There was some sort of paintng competition in OK City years back. I think they were made of some sort of plastic resin. They were all over downtown.

Hey, Bro!
The train ride gives some magical views. We HIGHLY recommend! And also, the infamous Skyline Drive.

Dave you must be staying busy your not on here a lot lately!

We might think about doing a "tallest tail" competition at one of our BC campfires! We might get the MARLG finished before we depart! Lol

But we all eat and laugh and cajole and tease and the go see neat places, so all is well in PA, Tim.
Yesterday was Jim Thorpe PA. Don't miss it.
We saw where 10 of the 20 Molly Maguires we hanged. How cool is that?

Yep our lives have been over the top! (Sarcasm) Got home Mon. AC out in downstairs unit of S&B. Get it going Tue. Then find out the big TV was shot, son came by to deliver mail and said he mowed front yard the other day but before he could finish it got dark and the riding mower was making funny noise! Wed. delivered The Discovery to shop to start on hail damage, started mower repair, Thur. finished mowing then jumped on bushhog. Fri. Sheared a pin on bushhog, had to fix it. Sat. finished up around house and edge of pasture, headed to 50th wedding anniversary party for friends from church, then over to help BIL with clogged toilet in his 5er.
Sunday, today, right now, having breakfast on back deck watching hummingbirds dart about, robins sing and hopeing to get to church on time!

I'm ready to hit the the road! Just a couple more weeks till we start migrating toward BC!

It's high season and I couldn't get reservations on the train. I don't know about Skyline Drive other than I have seen the turn off.

Annie and I were talking about Colorado as place to spend a good month or so just chilling. Jim and Ginny stay months in Gunnison and I really wanted to go but the doctor got in the way.

Today we will probably go to Swallows.

We were thinking of going to Victor, Colorado buts it's 2 hours away and our time is short. It looks interesting , especially since Wayne was the model for their phamplet.

We saw so many folks rafting and kyaking the Arkansas River. Busses of people, and the bus pulling a trailer with rafts staked high and 2 x.

It's definetly a nice area and some of the RV parks along the river are nice. Typical mountain terrain - dirt and gravel roads and pads but easily big rig doable and lots of fishermen.

Between Canon City and Salida there are quite a few parks with lots to do. Jeep rentals, ATV rentals, float fishing guides, helicopter rides, rafting and kyaking, etc.

We have friends that stay in the Durango area. That whole area from Colorado to Southern Utah is amazing country. If you get a chance Moab and Arches are must see's. Bryce will be amazing and hope you take the short drive to Zion. Remember Utah has state liquor stores and if I remember right none sold on Sundays. So one must plan their evening properly!
