Any time animals of any kind take up residence between the walls of a structure - the end result is a mess. It comes to no good. The bats don't belong there. While Tim says it's the wall of the shed / garage that the motorhome lives in - soon enough the bats will defile the rig too. They don't care where they set up shop and bats are rats with wings. They will pee and poop everywhere.

There are 2 million bats under the bridge in Austin...

http://www.batcon.org/

They are not that easy to get rid of. They multiply like bunnies. Grew up with bats down Waynes way... if they live where they belong - no problem. When they're in the wrong place... they can be a big problem.

Ya want 2 million bats in and around Honey?

Tim, I'm sure you could use them bats more than I can. Here's some plans for DIY bat houses --

The folks in Point Pleasant, WV don't give a hoot about bats. They have MOTHMAN to worry about.

What's not to like, eh? Scare the population and they erect a bronze statue to honor you.

If you didn't live in Canuckistan I'd send Sena to clean out your eve troughs. She's been cleaning out the gutters on the garage next to the MoHo. There were little fir trees growing in them when we got here. They are no more.

Ok, maybe a dumb question, but is a DP any less likely to catch fire? Why?

That would probably scare Tims bats away!

I have a large tree in back yard with a hollow trunk at the top that they use to use. Guess the metal barn was a step up for them. I'm afraid they may have newborn pups which will make it difficult to scare them off! I've read that spraying with water for several days will make them move.

Hey Steve,

Is there a schedule of events or meal sign-up yet? Are you ready to reactivate the GC planning email list?

Advice for all of you headed to Bryce -- there is one sorta grocery store in town with limited selection and very high prices. The closest real grocery store is about 30 miles away. I always stock-up in a big town on the way.

There is a gas station/auto repair across the road from Ruby's hotel. The gas prices were close to the surrounding towns. The nearest Walmart is a really LONG drive.
