It has been a fun and busy 10 days or so. Today we got to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC and I got a chance to do something I hadn't done in a long time and that was some reasonably serious photography. What a lovely day and we really enjoyed the colors of the garden.

We head off to the Sevierville area in the morning but we really need to come back here. 2 days is barely enough to explore the estate and we only spent 5 hours today.

Shoot. I forgot to call Ebenezer's this morning before I left. I called this evening and got the answering machine so I left a message with name and #. I guess I will have to call back tomorrow.

Steve, I found this one. It looks to be fairly new since there are not trees. It is Blackwell Island RV Park.

When we came thru Amarillo a few months ago, I called to get a weekend site in Palo Duro and was told it was booked solid. We drove down to the park office to see if we could get on the waiting list for a canceled site. Amazingly there had "just been a cancelation". I was going to give it to Mel and park our rig in a lousy park just outside PD. When we checked in the next day there was a second opening just across from us.

ok Mary tried the Gorilla card, she told the man if he didn't find her a spot a big Gorilla was going to come in there and show his a-- (abs)

Thanks Deb.
I saw this on and like the looks of it. Need to give a call cause it says no discounts...

Have noticed even some Passport America CGs say not valid from April to October or some such... still... I won't let dollars stop me - but will shop around before committing.

Thanks again. Not locked into to C 'd A. But do want quiet and relaxed and water!!! Been in the heat too long. Only a squamous cell carcinoma could keep me here this long... lol.
