How you two doing? We're really going to miss you at Bryce. Who's gonna provide the ghost pepper?

Pics when you have time.

BTW - the Grand Poobah and his lovely bride Nola are in a Internet free zone. That doesn't mean the Internet is free access, it means there is none. It must be the most remote KOA on the planet!

We're doing well, thank you. Sitting here in Port Hueneme NBVC with a stiffling 70˚ right now and 66% humidity outside. The natives think this is hot with the high humidity. They should come to the Texas Gulf Coast where it is 86˚ right now and feels like 97˚ with the humidity 77%.

We are a little concerned about the fires up North. Anyone with information would be helpful.

Sorry we are missing Bryce but we had/have a plan and are sticking to it. Besides, not everyone is going to be able to make every get-together that is planned. I think it is good that they are held in different parts of the U.S. as it gives everyone a chance to meet others. All we require is FHU and time.

Sounds nice Wayne. It's 98 here and real feel is 95. Humidity is 9%. Once the sun goes down its nice. But during the heat of the day, losing the will to live comes on strong... thank heaven for swimming pools, palm trees and a little shade...

I understand about your plan - and like us - circumstances delayed your journey. It works out and we know we will see you again. Even of we have to come to the mountain!!

Really nice. Weather, although hot, is so much better than back home right now. Took on the easiest hikes at Petroglyphs NP then over to the Ballon Festival sites to look around in case we come back threw during the festival.

Old town for the afternoon and lunch, then to complete my day a trip to Wal-Mart! New neighbors when we made it back to MH so we never made it to pool.

Tomorrow I think we will head up to the peek via Tahoe, I do my best hiking in it!

It's a great drive up to the Crest. You will be cooler too...
The pool at the park is small but worth it's weight in gold. It's amazing how quickly Abq cools down at sunset. Looks like you'll get down to 66 tonight - and actually be on route 66... we will be around 84 low tonight in Vegas...

Wayne we have had some pretty wild lightening hits in our area. The one fire at Dog Mountain (about 10 miles west south west of us is almost out and lightening started another big fire west north west of us but the wind is blowing this way. Still its quite a ways off and we should fare well.

The news is claiming a big low is causing warm moist air to come out of the north and swirl around the hot high between us and Washington and may cause violent lightening and thunder in the Seattle area.

Best I can do being I was watching the news through almost closed eyes.

Well if it wasn't for bad luck we would have none. The transmission in the rv blew no forward gears. And in reverse it locks down and kills the engine. Oh well we will make it.
