Depending on the vehicle, many cars requrie the front end to be disassembled to put on the base plate. Also some modifications such as enlarging holes or making new ones. May not be an easy task, and an absolute must to have the right tools on hand.

Earlene reads the forum so she'll get the message(s).
So let's ask Earlene how much fun she would have with you in a 25' class C....

The CR-V had the front cross member removed and replaced with stronger metal...

Evenin Muteys!

Well Jenny has safely brought us to Salt Lake but what should have been 7 1/2 hours turned into 11 hours and I'm beat! We had to buck a 30 mph headwind with gusts to 40 and I couldn't hold Jenny much more than 50 on road and the serious grades we were creeping along about 25-30 in 3rd gear and she started overheating!
If I hadn't already paid for tonight I would have stopped in Wyoming. Never again will I do that. Poobah I'm feelin your pain bud.

Like my daddy always said Herb, some days chicken, some days feathers...

A good night's sleep and you'll be good as new!

R U an RV Mutant too?

Riding the rails today: a steam train in western England that Possum put us onto. Only a mile out and back, but pretty countryside. And did I say steam? And a tearoom, of course!

Adventures await. (Hope I'm not sorry I said that!)

Word is... the slide toppers are in and look correct. The guys are on their way and hopefully they're a correct fit. They should be here in 30 minutes. We shall see!

Other than the handful of hail dents in a couple of bay doors - with any luck our Hail of a GC repairs will be behind us.

Edit. They guys are here. Should know something soon.

Love ya, Wayne & Earlene! You are soooo right. We had a blast camping in our popups and TTs. We're having a blast in Bow (when she's being nice). We have so much into Bow now that I imagine we'll hang on to her for the long haul. We really do like so many things about her.

Same with Citrus, to much money invested now. Some day though, who knows.

Her parents had a 26' class C and all four of us were very comfortable in it.

It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.

In the old days many of us made do with what we had. We cooked over an open fire, lived in tents or pop-ups, and did not have the luxury items we have today. Now I'm spoiled and want all the luxury items and like Earlene, roughing it is not having a Walmart nearby.
