The geocacher clan and Annie at Cowboy Ranch... we're out for dinner and drinks - must be a MiniC at Bryce before the gang gets here!

Steve, you are just a few phone calls away from being very rich. Just call 20 or 30 communities in the Pacific NorthWest and British Columbia and tell them about your last 9 or 10 months of moving from place to place and they will demand that you come to their community. They will hand over thousands upon thousands of dollars for each inch of rain.

OK so I can't get to Bryce but I did score something really cool for the MH today. I got a Coleman coffee maker that you set on top of the stove and it works like a hot damn. I have run CLR though it to clean the gunk and water carried crap from the unit; put it through the dishwasher (Denise is away at daughter's house) and it is set aside to dry. I will try it on the side burner on the BBQ in the morning. Great $5.00 purchase.

If it works as good as it looks I won't have to run the generator to make coffee in the mornings while camping.

It works well and was not very expensive to modify. There were a couple of things I had to do to get it all to work, addition of a bilge blower to help move air along enough to keep coils from icing up use of a PWM to slow the blower down... Had a problem at a big Tearjerkers gathering (147 Tears), with the PWM failing and the hoses falling out of the side of the trailer, they were PVC pipe fittings jammed in with gasket material that died of old age. I have spent the last couple of days improving on the original hack design.

Our lives in these moving machines is one of compromise and improvise. But it sure is fun.
Where ya been so long... RVM8... you should be here in Bryce with us...

Great evening out with Dale, Deb and Sweet Annie!
It is brisk here at the picnic table. Stars everywhere but no light show...
Can't wait to introduce you mutants to Deb and Dale. They are indeed first rate mutants!

I can tell already it's going to take days to get them straighten out from all Steve's stories!
Can't wait to get there!
Hay Dave when will you be pulling out of Jacob Lake? You'll be coming right by our spot here at Mount Carmel we can caravan that final 60 miles, get us ready for the Maritines trip!

Someone alert the media and authorities... if you two are caravaning....
Tim - I don't think I had to tell them a story about you. Once I let Dale rest a minute after setting up my camp, his first words were - send a post that we entered Tim in then rodeo. I added Dave. So we drove over and registered you both!

One last ponder before I turn in. On my IPad at the top of this thread there reads a sentence "This Discusstion Proudly Presented By" followed by an advertisement. Now if they're so proud of this mutant discussion, do you really think they have read it!
Good nite !
