We made it home safe and sound, but we are waiting for the next GC where we can meet you in person. From all the pic's and comments, it seems you all had a great Mutantly time at Bryce.

Again, thanks for the welcome (except for the one that told me about how the newbies get all the chores around camp)....

Thanks,

Did anyone tell you the way to get rid of the broom and bucket? Recruit, dear boy! Oh no, actually not...we just wait for unsuspecting newbies to show up and sign on. Don't recruit, just live in hope ...the spider and the fly, mwaah hah, hah!

Not bored at all by your posting Sue. I've been enjoying seeing all these places you've been going to over there.

Where's the road? I'm not getting it

Sue love your pics and commentary. Just one thing, I'll not be showing them to Mary, she's ready to take a trip and I really getting to the point I hate the issues with flying!

Carl the trip and pics Jeff posted was great! We had a blast, of course it came a point we had to turn around (cliff) but then again we weren't in a R____!

Hey Carl,

We were about 3 miles south of Cannonville on Skutumpah RD. And RD 540 runs off that to the east.

Cheers !!!

Pictures

Pictures NEVER do true justice to the scenery that your eyes are blessed to see. I wish someone would invent a camera that captures what your eyes are seeing (you know the panoramic part and the exact replica of your depth of vision). Someday.

In the mean time, just marvel at the Lord's creation thru the pictures that others are willing to share.

True, so true! And we do keep trying, don't we? If we only get half an idea of what's in front of the lens, we still have more than we had before. ☺️

In retaliation, Steve, here's our supper last night, served in the beer garden of The Jolly Fisherman in the small village of Craster. The view was north and east over the North Sea at low tide.

Attachment 103936

That would be rock bass and fresh veg for Himself, and local crab on toast with mango chutney and apple/ pear salad with a bowl of sweet potato soup for me. Mmm!

Attachment 103937

Way the hay off in the distance to the north are the spiky ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle.

Attachment 103938

The harbor village reminds us of the setting for "Doc Martin", BBC sitcom/drama. Bet this place is only for the strong and sturdy in the winter!

Looks great Sue and no broken links! We still miss you two.

Yeah, there's no mention of bucket duty in the brochure. Glad to see you here, Ted.
