Pictures of Cedar Breaks National Monument

South of Bryce Canyon about one hour to the southwest. Small but beautiful rock formations. I hope the pics do it justice.

Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or corn beef, close enough!

Tim and I took CR-V Mutant on a little drive today. It's possible Dale and I may fish tomorrow... so Tim was kind enough to go with me to scout Pine Lake, Utah. It's about 18 miles from Ruby's. The first 10 miles were easy going. The last 7 miles in were a little washboard but nuthin to worry about. The lake is small but all reports are, trout are being caught! We heard reports of power bait, nightcrawlers, Panther Martin's and wet Flys being successful.
The 3 day out of state fishing license is $24.

Hi Sarah

Greetings from the old country.

Re your CO detector, you may have found this out already but from our experience with a 33C Bounder, keep your bedroom windows shut when using the generator.

Sparky is ready for some corned beef. Ever try to keep a mutant mascot settled down... it's not easy.

Hi, Martin. I am enjoying Sue's travelogue and photos very much; glad you guys are having fun.

Our bedroom windows were closed--in fact, ALL of the windows were closed. So not sure how the CO set off the alarm. We were stopped in a Walmart parking lot buying supplies; after being there for a couple of hours the alarm went off. We were running both a/c units and likely the bathroom vent fan. (We conclude that the vent fan is not a good idea while running the genny. )

We shut down the genny and opened all the windows to air it out. Not sure what caused the alarm but it made me uneasy about the generator for the remainder of our trip. Oddly, though the hardwired detector went off, a smaller portable model in the same room did not. Doesn't instill much confidence in the accuracy or dependability of the darn things.

Hey Wayne. Hope you, Earlene and Miya are having a nice weekend and that your tow-bar minidrama is winding down. We checked the generator but don't see anything...though I'm not totally sure what the heck we'd be looking for. Should we have it tested somehow by a generator shop?

Cute pic! "Hoosiers" reminded me of one of the best forum nicknames I have ever seen. A guy on the Cadillac forums is called "Hoosier Daddy."
