Surgery scheduled for Sept 17...... Outpatient. So traveling this winter is most likely.

I bet you are glad that shoe has finally dropped and you will soon be free to get back on the rainbow. So does that mean you are going to join the mutant invasion on AZ this winter?

Let me get this right. Battery gone - surgery scheduled for Sept 17th. Larry is working on a "gone" battery. I'd have expected a faster turn around or did they just give him some jumper cables?

Still in the RV........its been a weird move. The first person we were going to rent from changed his mind because someone told him they would pay more rent (housing is scares here) and so at 10:38 PM we got a call telling us we no longer had a rental house. So...........we now have a rental house and to be honest its nicer. These houses are small; rooms are really small. So our bed is all that fits in the Master bedroom.

We will head to El Paso on Saturday as POD does not deliver to here either which we were told they would. We home to unpack the POD into our utility trailer in 6.5 houses. Of course this is all the heavy stuff so should be interesting.

I have spend my free time working at the food bank and starting Stain Glass window classes next month. Of course I am still baking and cooking too.

Hope all is well! Looks like you guys have had lots of fun! If anyone comes through this way let me know.

Not before they hook up with us ones! Sheesh!

When the battery is gone it isnt totally gone.... There is enough of a reserve charge in there or so they say

The beep was so faint when they checked it, but now i know what to listen for. Larry never heard it this afternoon, When they were testing it....

It is an outpatient surgery, and the leads into the heart are still good, so those do not have to be replaced. Had his chest xray and blood work prep today......

I think i almost did a cartwheel in the exam room when they told us it was gone........ I then got embarrasd that i was excited......

I am happily cancelling our Sept reservation at Branson, and we shoukd be able to travel in November....
I have no idea where everyone will be, but yes, i will be planning AZ and NM this winter, so will keep tabs on who is where....
Just not sure where exactly or when exactly......

And I'm almost without words! You southern gals go into party mode when your hubby's pacer battery dirt naps? Velly strange indeed.

Just kidding of course. Hope the old bird gets a fresh Duracell soon.
