Bonita, take them on home.
Well Bonita Bounder was in great form and brought us on home. Nice drive that ended at the ugliest site next to a Holiday Rambler Endeavor.

Nothing worse than a fine MH parked in a storage area.

Welcome home my friend until your next great adventure.

Hey Steve,

Marcia and I are happy you made it home all safe and sound, now the next question is when do you get to mutate again, I know it seems like your mutant clan is pushing you. But when you finally get to the point that going back to the coach is going home, you will thank us.

Cheers !!!

Funny you ask, the UAMS Bacon Cookoff. UAMS stands for University of Arkansas Medical Science campus. I would say a fair number present were Dr. Or Dr. In training!

Kind of like a Dentist giving out sweets on visits to his office.

No !!!!!!!

Hahahahahaha well I suppose that is one way to drum up business, but can you imagine a whole stadium full of BACON smoke ? and I think dave hit a home run with the candied BACON ice cream topper also toss in a few pecans and a dollop of chocolate fudge and it would be like mutant nirvana.

Cheers !!!

Fresh Salmon

Our 14 year old neighbour came by this evening with something for our tomorrow BBQ event. Fresh Salmon and enough for two.

Thanks you two! You're singing to the mutating choir. As soon as I get the last ducks in a row we go. As I've mentioned before, 401k is off limits until next July and making ready is job 1. But then again - just dropped a bundle on two weeks vacation - will drop a small one in April for the Grade Curiosity. What's a mutant to do? Those two mutations could go / have gone to principle on Bonita. It will be as soon as possible and without a debt or care in the world. Just won't go if we owe 1 red cent. That's written in stone. Need 1 Jeep and Bonitas title and were on the Rainbow for the duration!

Ok - serious question - anyone other than me ever get the swollen foot / ankle after a day of driving. I know to watch for it. Adjust seat - stop and walk every now and then - etc. But I have a touch of it tonight. Didn't use cruise enough I guess. No problem going down on interstate. Took back roads - hills and two lanes with lots of passing lanes in some good winds today. My foot got a bit more of a workout.

Tricks of RVMdom?

Just one ankle, rest it, take some ibuprofen or Advil, cold compress.
Both ankles, check your blood pressure, be sure your taking all your meds correctly most special any diuretics. Drink extra water, ( water actually acts like a diuretic) lose weight.

Ok, threw the lose weight inthere cause my Dr always does, regardless of the problem. Those that are already in the group referred to as retired may require you take a physical before joining us. Don't want anyone to scar our image of bright, smiling, energetic, pleasant senior gentlemen. Lol

Steve, that can be serious! Too much of that turns into DVT, or deep vein thrombosis. People die from that. It's blood clots in the leg. Take lots of aspirin. When you're not driving, elevate your foot. This helps drain the fluid from the leg. When you are driving, get a foot rest to keep the weight of your leg off of the leg. If your leg is just dangling there, it constricts the exit of blood from the leg. That's when clots form.

I use a cardboard box as a foot rest for my left leg. I've been there with the DVT. Trust me, it's n fun.

Drive on----safely.

Yikes! Be very careful, Steve!

Good advice by all so far.

I stop and get out every 60-90 minutes. But it is for my lumbar. You better today?
