Man up Herb, you love the picture.

You could have at least waited till I had the purse that matched my outfit! Oh the humanity!

We love her too much and put off the decision too long. She has no longer got a quality of life even close to being meaningful. We hate this part but we have to let her go.

Funny how deeply they work their way into your heart and how hard proper decisions on their welfare become. I don't know how to say what I want to say but somehow I'm feeling we failed her. We love the little munchkin to death and don't want her to suffer and we feel she is now starting to suffer.

Keep us in your thoughts today, thank you.

Dennis I think most of us have traveled this road your on. I know Barb and I have more than once and so like you we know it's a painful one. Will Izzy be sorely missed... Yes. That fact alone proves your love and care for your fur baby. But more importantly, Izzy knew that love you showed for a long time and in return, Izzy returned to you that same love and devotion. I believe what scripture says about to everything there is a season. Izzy was part of your lives for a season and now she will live in your thoughts and hearts.

Prayers for your loss my friend.

'Mornin' all, early risers everyone of yez!

I watered all the deck plants yesterday, so you know what happened overnight! And that diminishing storm is still walking around not far away "on legs of lightning, muttering and grumbling." (The late Terry Pratchett, in "Equal Rites")

First cuppa is on the upstairs deck while it's still cool and the birdsong is louder than the thunder. The crops are beginning to turn toward harvest, so gold edges toward brown and green edges toward yellow. Slowly.

And an old man's thoughts turn toward ... Income. Mine too, since this is what fuels the RV for the year to come! Wish us a good crop and strengthening market, sufficient to fuel the journey. That's all we really need.

Tim won't be awake for a few hours, I reckon, after that marathon. What on earth possessed you, man? Mary wasn't wielding a whip, was she? Glad you made it safely!

Thanks again everyone.
Sorry for your loss prayers sent.

Heya, Dwayne, what are you up to now? Still hanging with Annie and the Potentate? How's Shara's new cat? Any chance we'll see you in AZ or thereabouts this winter?

Cheers!

Let me rephrase that: How are Shara and her new cat? 😸

Why? You will procrastinate about completing a fence for years, but do 2 days of driving in one? Oh, wait. Anxious to start the D

Good morning mutants near and far. We're taking it easy the next couple days in prep for hitting the rainbow on Wednesday. Going to let the holiday traffic clear before rolling down the road. Where to - well we will let ya know later. It's a clandestine operation with a month long layover. Stay tuned!
