I'd like to have a steel baseball bat and be put into "Puppy Mill Owner Attitude Adjusting." For the first 6 weeks we owned her she cowered in a closet and then she opened up and started to develop her own little personality. Because of neglect and over breeding she had numerous health issues but we did what we could for her and I think until this last episode she was really enjoying her life. Big safe yard to play in and a brother and a sister to play with. My son claimed she thought she had died and gone to puppy heaven.
I'm still not even close to stopping crying. Really loved the little imp. We did the best we could for her.
Denis and Denise,

Bon, Morgan and I extend our deepest condolences for your loss.

Our hearts go out to you both with the decision you had to make.
Izzy definitely won the lottery in gaining you two as her guardians!
She has definitely gone on to a better, painless place and I'm sure she's thankful for the life you provided her.

Dennis and Denise:

So sorry for your loss. The only bad thing about dogs is that they don't live long enough. Izzy had a great life with you, and your love never goes away. RIP little dog.

Don't know why anyone ever leaves the mountains. Sigh. Our favorite place to be is in the mountains.

Tim, y'all went to Mesa Verde Nat'l Park, right? Did you go through Pagosa Springs on the way home? If so, you passed close by our home in Pagosa. It's maybe a mile off the highway in the Pagosa Lakes development. View of Pagosa Peak from the front patio. Renter in there for now, but we may kick him out in a few years and move up there. ;-) Be a great place for a GC or midi.

Our stay here in Provo has been great but is coming to a close when we depart Thursday.

Provo is a great place. Within a mile or two of city life are cattle, horses, farm land. Along with BYU there are several other colleges. If ya haven't visited here it should be on the list!

So Wayne -
Some of us are kicking around the idea of a GC up Michigan way and another near Ed and Jackie / Papaw Steve as part of our staging to head east toward the Maritimes. Then another final GC on this side of the border and just south of the crossing for those who can't or don't want make the journey further north.

Lots of planning to do this winter but hopefully we can get a schedule going that Earlene and Miya can attend (and you too..)

2016 is going to be a great year for mutants! Hard to believe we're already coming into fall and 10 months on the road. It just doesn't get any better than this. So glad we made the leap into full time.

Hi Earlene! Hi Herb! Hi Barb! Hi Mel and Kate! Hi everybody! Looking forward to crossing paths again with all you STMs out there!

Have a grand day!
Hey Steve and Annie. You are always inspiring us to move forward with this plan to go FT! Next time we see y'all we want to spend a little more time visiting with you than we did at CL, which was hardly any. Lol.

Y'all travel safe and keep on enjoying the Rainbow! Where is your next stop?

Maybe you can turn this into another positive - I did when the service center totally trashed my batteries and they wound up giving me new ones for free that were 2x more expensive than the ones I had. I was happy in the end.

You should also put a review up on the RV Service Review website so others are aware of the "extras" provided there.

I hear some mutants have added washer/dryers to their coaches. I think Dave and Nola have this one... (poke poke)

We upgraded to a slightly more modern model.

The more rugged Mutants might prefer this BYOB (Bring Your Own Barrel) model.

Well - we will have a place set at the picnic table for you.

We have been keeping our next destination a secret cause we don't want any jealousy out there.... but OK - we'll risk it...

Annie and I and Jeff and Marcia leave Provo on Thursday and will head to Green River for 2 nights - then Grand Junction for 2 nights - AND then - Montrose Colorado for a month beginning the 14th.

And as a added bonus - on 9/21 we will see Joe Ely play at http://www.turnofthecenturysaloon.co...N/Welcome.html

https://youtu.be/4FqwQ82Dh5U

It's a coincidence that he'll be there when we are - Rainbows are that way!

Woo-hah! I see you needed adult supervision there! Or were they just skeerdy-catz?

Do you need a passport?

If you are headed to the Maritimes next summer or Mexico this winter you will need a passport or the cheaper passport card to come back into the U.S. Interestingly, you don't need anything to get into Mexico, just to come home.

The U.S. Passport Card can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry and is more convenient and less expensive than a passport book. The passport card cannot be used for international travel by air.

Passport Card

If you have lots of time before your trip you can apply by mail.

https://www.usps.com/international/passports.htm

I got a passport card at a State Department Passport office in Seattle. Since I was planning to travel to Canada in 2 weeks I was able to get my passport card 3 days later but that was after waiting about 10 days for an appointment. I don't suggest waiting. The rules may have changed.
