There is really no answer because it will just depend on the weather. If you keep a close watch on it, you could always hold up a few days until the passes are cleared. Then again, you may make it right on thru without any problem which ever way you go.

Sorry that is not much help.
Thanks,
I could do the 1 101 route and then 10 but I would like to get Denise to see things she hasn't seen with me around. She did the Amtrak thing down the left coast and we want to try a little further inland.

Good morning mutants near and far, old and new!

2 more days in Provo and it's off to see the rainbow, the wonderful rainbow of RVMdom!

Traveling with Jeff and Marcia is a kick and we're already planning our month long adventures in and around Montrose Colorado.

We have our tickets for the Joe Ely concert on 9/21 - and are looking forward to that and the Montrose Oktoberfest 10/3.

Our day trip plans include Black Canyon of Gunnison, Telluride, Crested Butte, the jeeping capitol of the world, Ouray Colorado, the million dollar highway, the spires of the San Juan Mountains, and Grand Mesa. It's rough duty, but someone has to do it...

Let me take a shot at that answer Ed.
When out on the rainbow, everyday is a holiday!

Well, Ed, I did not expect 6 lanes of gridlock for 40 miles when 200 miles from the 5.

Ok, here's the proof that Bow is out of the shop (for now). She's going to have to go back in to get the generator oil leak fixed. But we didn't need the genny at the nice little city-owned RV park just outside of Levelland, TX on Hwy 385 South.

Wayne, y'all should have stayed there. It's free for 3 days, then only $25 a night after that. 50/30 amp plus water. Dump station in park. They only have 7 sites, but every time we've gone over, we've gotten a spot. You're by the little airport and will occasionally get to see small planes take off or land. It really is a great little park for travelers or just for a weekend get-away.

Couple of good Mexican restaurants in town. And Levelland is home to South Plains College, a 2 year community college. Sheryl Swoops is one of their most famous alumns. (If you don't follow women's college basketball, you may not know Sheryl.) They also have a world class Bluegrass music program and recording engineering program. Students come from all over the world (literally) to study bluegrass music. Levelland, TX. Who'd a-thunk it?
