Took the back road over to and back from Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, and Big Sur. We were disappointed with Big Sur. All of the viewing areas everyone talks about must be inside the state park and at the end of a 1/2 mile trail because nothing was visible from CA 1 except the normal beautiful coastlines strewn with rocks. No large waves beating the sand and rocky cliffs.

Here's some pics Mary Ann took. Enjoy = = = = =cloudy, overcast, and foggy. Loan cypress, seal rock, turbulent waves on the shore

Nice pics, Mary Ann! Thanks, Steve.

I followed your trial, but I am convinced you love your furby as much as I love mine, BUT you did the right thing. I told the family, there would NEVER be another, it is just too hard. After a short time, there was an empty spot in my heart & home, so we ended up with another chihuahua. I introduced her as the reincarnation of "Little Bit", with only a few different markings... Each with her own personality, BUT I've fallen in love again. Not easy, but life goes on.. Now we feel this was meant to be & we had to bring this unwanted pup into our home to be "FAMILY"...

I can see the love in their eyes.

Yes we are still grieving but the little imp will be a pleasant memory in our hearts. Between us we have had more dogs than a rescue center and we lavished all the love we could on all of them.

Ready for this; somebody in town has fond a little shih tsu and they can't keep it where they live. A no pets building. And we have offered to babysit it until the owners are found. Treading on dangerous ground her because "The Furb" was a stray that we looked for the owners of for about 13 years.

BTW let me introduce you to "The Furb". She was introduced to the family as "Furby" but she was so insistent and demanding that my nephew Carman started referring to her as "The Furb" and it naturally stuck.

Hey everybody. Going to meet a friend of Jeff and Marcia's tonight for Dinner. He's not an RVer but is traveling the country in his Corvette and hoteling it. He's just come from where we're going - Montrose, Co and hopefully we'll get the lowdown. Film at 11.
