The Furb was the first dog that owned Denise and I. She passed over to that infamous bridge about 4 years ago and is now sitting with Izzy awaiting our eventual arrival.

I started writing an article about her but couldn't bring myself to finish it because of the tears it conjured. I guess we're an old softy because of the love and affection we dole out on our charges.

I think Colleen and I could be siblings this way. I DO wish you could have met The Furb as she was something else again. Still love and miss her but life goes on and eventually we will travel together again

More land leads to more cows, more cows means more cow hands!

Meet Roxy our newest cow wrangler! ( Blue Heeler )

Awww again!

Diane toftSFM#64....... (The Original Fast Talking Sliding Finger Mutant) and is retired, duh!

Amazing that they aren't white blurs across the screen! Such lovies, even in action. (And nice collars, too!)

On the road again (cue Willie). Heading for Wakarusa, IN to finally get repairs done from the Hail of a GC in April. (Their schedule, our schedule, and so on & on.)

We'll only stay overnight and drive the Jeep home tomorrow. I have a gourd workshop to help with this week and we don't know how long the repairs will take, so this is more a business trip than a rainbow journey. Still.... 😊

A journey is still a journey, yes?

Amazing what natural instinct these dogs have! Walking down to mailbox the other day this 7 week old pup was already pacing back and forth behind Mary and I! Should be a lot of help moving the cows as she's much faster than Mary and minds better too!

All I can locate under settings is the ability to receive "notifications". Mine is set to "off". Is that the problem? I thought notifications had something to do with a note sent to my e-address when anyone posted on a thread that I was subscribed to. Didn't want my inbox flooded. I'll turn notifications on and see what pops up.

EDIT: Oh NOW I see ... there is a second page that shows up after I opt to have notifications. That's where I can decide to filter out general stuff like when someone posts to a thread that I've subscribed. OK ... now I have it set to get love letters from my fans, and autograph seekers.

Hey y'all! I clicked on his icon and it allowed me to email him. Should I suggest something or do y'all get the message.

I sure hope you know how to make peanut butter sandwiches for the next couple weeks.

Wonder of wonders! iRV2 looks more robust on the large screen desktop. With some struggling, I do believe that I conquered the monster and now have opened up messaging. With the iPad app the unlocking was not working.

What a beautiful unit. I see it has a trailer hitch on the back so are you planning midnight runs for the provincial and national borders so you can triple tow toys?
There will be peace in the family (and restful sleep) with the introduction of the King Bed to our camping (Glamping) experience.

And true to the Mutant way..."We no longer have a queen bed and CERTAINLY don't miss it!"

The hitch on the back will carry our bike rack and bikes.

Hey Timmy, This may help you in training Roxy. (I think you will have to be a lot nicer to train Mary.)

Oh, Tim, by the way, Skidboot was a Texas cowdog. They are probably more easily trained then an Arky cowdog since it is difficult to talk to an Arky nicely.

After all, you already said Mary was not trainable. Try some sweet talk.
