1 down 2 to go... get the ohmm generator out... if we can't do food, we need something to fuel us!

OK Moon, it's now your turn to feel the full power of the magic ohms. Hey what time zone are you in?

Big WOOT for Larry!
Can we get a big bunch of RV Mutant "OH YEAHS"?
That and firing up our gi-normous network of OOOOOHHHHHMMMMSSS Generators will help to get all into the "good to ride the Rainbow" category.

I remember going to Bridgeport (CT) to get nice fresh bread from those folks. They had a big operation there and also had a discount store for things that were a day past last sale date. The wonderful smell of fresh bread baking was amazing.

Technology is just so amazing.... His new ICD generator has a added function of measuring the fluod level in his lungs, thus keeping a better check on his CHF (congestive heart failure)..... All wireless...

Was away from my computer for a week (& couldn't remember my password to use on DW's Surface tablet) and am FINALLY caught up. Sorry I missed all the medical procedures, hope all is well with everyone.
My turn to tell of RV(mis)adventure. We left on Labor Day to go to a little town in Iowa to pick up a new car trailer for the Mustang. Went to start the generator to run the AC while we were traveling. It started (sort of), surged and died. Did this a dozen times, ran ragged for a few minutes then quit. Oh well, we'll use the dash AC. It either wasn't working or just couldn't keep up. Did I mention it was about 90 degrees out. Rolled out of Indianapolis heading for Effingham IL. Spent a night at Lake Haven, very nice place. Next day, on the road to Columbia MO. Stopped at a rest park to walk the dogs and have a sandwich. MH wouldn't start. The 2 year old DieHard battery (which had been losing its charge - I was going to take it to Sears but hadn't had a chance) apparently finally gave up. Even the Aux. start wouldn't do it (we had been using that, the generator or shore power to start it for a while). Neither would the rechargable jump start thing I was carrying for emergencies. So, on the phone to my insurance cos. road service line. THAT was a fun call - the operator was having a real problem locating just where we were... Anyway, they send an on-site repair guy who replaces the battery and we're on our way again. Arrive at Cottonwoods RV Park just as the lady is about to close the office for the night (after missing the sign in the dark the first time). Another nice place. Up the next day to go to St. Joseph MO. The rear slide goes in half way and STOPS. Go to the office, they have info on a company on a place that comes out there almost every day to fix something for someone. Guy comes out and finds the ground wire has pulled loose (& discovers a secret access panel under the mattress). On our way again, get to AOK RV Park in St. Joseph. Not a bad place, not quite as fancy as the other 2 were. Next day, up to go to Iowa to pick up the trailer. Jack alarm decides to freak out even though app the jacks appear to be up. Finally say "@#$%^ it" and take off, thankfully the alarm gets bored and turns off after a few minutes. Go get the trailer. Really nice folks, really nice trailer. Now for the return trip. Back to AOK in St. Joseph. Next day, jack alarm again. At this point DW and I are joking about the "Problem of the Day". Back to Cottonwoods, uneventful this time except for the jack alarm, which by now we are expecting and ignoring after a visual check of the jacks. Back to Lake Haven, where they apparently forgot that we would be bring back a trailer with us, so a last minute shift to a different spot. This one is a bit narrow compared to the one we had previously. Stayed 3 days, one of the dogs (traveling with all 4 for the first time) decided to bark at anything and everything and was aggressive toward any and all other people or animals. Finally made it home Tuesday. Oh, to add insult to injury...on the last day we stopped at a Pizza Hut in Terre Haute IN and I scraped the side of the MH on their sign post, tore up a trim strip and scratched the utility bay door. Also found out en route that the connection at the toilet was leaking so we couldn't use the campground water connection & had to keep the pump turned off as much as possible.
All in all, a grand adventure. And, yes, despite all that, it was an enjoyable trip. And, with a little help, I was able to back the trailer up our driveway without putting the MH in anyone else's yard...now to get a hitch on the Mustang so I can use it to move the trailer around...
Would like to brag on both the repair services but I'm not sure if that violates any IRV2 sanctions on 'selling'. PM me and I'll give you the info.
Dave

Oh Yeahs!!! Many ooohhhmms to all who need it.
We finally got our "exciter" PU home today at the tune of $2757.54 after 3 weeks. I got the price reduced with some whining as they had originally quoted us $4300. So with all the "excitement" with the "exciter ring" we have dubbed the PU's name - Exciter.
