We have really close friends who have moved there from Tacoma and they keep insisting that we visit with them when we next travel to the USA. They want us to camp in their back yard and stay free and then the four of us can head for Puerto Peñasco Mx in our RVs to stay with mutual friends there.

We are not even trying to commit to this road trip but Janet made Denise promise that our first trip after all this legal crap is behind us will be to their place in Casa Grande and the four of us have all kinds of friends over at the Mariposa Live Steamers and also numerous friends at the Scottsdale Group. So we are both eagerly awaiting the axe to fall and cut this all off.

At that point we will start firming up travel plans.

Yeeeee-haw! (That's south of the border for Woot!) Shall we send ommms for all that legal stuff to be axed really, really soon? I'm sure you're really, really tired of it by now. That sort of stuff can drag on forever, it seems!

Looking forward to meeting you and Denise as and when. It doesn't matter where or when, but a gourd festival seems as good a place as any and better than some!

BTW, you'd better use my map instead of yours. It's only 16 minutes on mine. 😏

A pork roast... and it's fork tender!
Brown gravy and cranberry sauce too.

If I hadn't promised to teach that class last week, I wouldn't now be obsessed with working on the gourd I started!

The other one was finished w/in 15 minutes, silk fusion on the surface. This one, colored pencil, has already taken hours upon hours and isn't half done. It will eventually become a lidded bowl. I'd better like it!

There's yet another that may get entered in the AZ competition. More silk, another that took many hours to get just right. My fave.

Nola, you'd like the silk process, I think. Shall we? (And anyone else, too!)

Looking forward to hearing (reading) your great prose especially when aimed at others. I
may call this evening if all goes well.
Dennis, so sorry you caught me with my arms loaded and my phone twixt my ear and shoulder! It was really nice of you to call with encouragement.

Of course, Murphy's Law ruled the afternoon. But, I did get home at 7:30. Magazine completely FINISHED, voice mail message set to "I'll be out of the office until November 3rd", email message same way, September expense report done and submitted, office tidied up, desk straightened, candy in the bowl for the cleaning folks, note on my coworker's desk thanking her for all her help recently, lights out, door locked. DONE.

Now for the fun part.
