I'm still very impressed with your ability to get the Pope over to this side of the globe, just to be on standby. Very very impressive.

Thanks for the update on Mel, and all the best for Larry's checkup. If Moon is still grumpy but improving, then our current crop of mutant patients seems to be doing well.
Ah, the power of the ommm blanket!
The well guys have been out to fix the check valve (on Martin's watch) and I've been to the dentist on my watch. As my reward, I'm going to the animal shelter to pet some cats.
You must understand, while I like most animals, I hate those meeces to pieces! Martin isn't happy about the prospect of adding new pets, but cats are the most effective way to reduce the mousey population. It's gone beyond a joke here! House, car, garage...they'll be getting into the fridge next, lookin for cheese to go with their (OUR!) crackers!

We are currently waiting for the road to open at noon - heading up the mountain from Ouray to take a mining trail back around to Telluride.

I'd like to introduce you to a little girl who has just ridden in her third consecutive Port Alberni Toy Run.
Mutants this is Princess.
Quite a proper little lady she is and she is nuts about riding her motorcycle. Please note this is her pink rain gear but like all real Bike riders her riding gear is studded black leather.

Well half of the outside lane is missing due to a past rockslide, or so it appears, so they are dynamiting and repairing and running new electrical cables .... I might add there are no guardrails and no shoulder to speak of either.
Cheers !!!
