They are actually Doggles -- googles made for dogs. I bought Lily a pair back when I thought we could use a small motor scooter as our toad. Dogs eyes need wind protection, too.

Ok, we have seen Larry, Moonrover, and Mel thru surgeries. The Blanket of Ohmms has worked it's magic and all 3 are doing well. So everyone -- the blanket needs a rest. PLEASE stay safe and well.

We made our way to Mackinaw city, stayed for 3 days looking at the Dunes and crystal clear water of Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. I've never taken the time to thoroughly explore till now. We had a beautiful drive up the UP of Michigan on our way to Green Bay.
Tonight we are near Lacrosse Wisconsin in a Walmart located in Onalaska. It looks like we are convoying with 2million $s of Prevosts. We are parked right behind them.
If Walmart is good enough for million dollar rigs, its good enough for us!
We should be at Mt Rushmore by Sunday!

Can you recommend campgrounds on either the US or Canadian side on any of the Great Lakes?

We stayed at PINE VALLEY campground near Brantford Ontario, it was a very fun family place. In Mackinac city, TEE-PEE village and MILL CREEK, ARE BOTH VERY GOOD.
The rest of the time we dry camped at box stores. We did have a excellent few days at Niece & Nephews farm.

In Cleveland we spent almost 4 months at PIER-LON PARK.. It's in Medina Ohio. We paid the seasonal rate. Great family campground.

Do you know anything about Michigan State Parks or camping at National Lakeshores on the Great Lakes? We prefer state parks or federal lands when possible.

Potluck and games at our CG tonight. Good folks and a few marginal food items. I played Skip Bo as partners. Good twist on the "every player for themselves" usual game. My partner was 92 and one opponent was 90. Both were sharp as tacks.

107 degrees today in AJ and one of the residents wore a thigh length heavy sweater to the potluck. A/C worked but it was by no means chilly.

Hi Colleen, Annie, Marcia, Earlene, Sue, Di, Nola, Mel, Kate, Cheryl, Jackie, Marty, Deb, Mary, Elizabeth, Shara, Barb, Sandee, Mary, Sarah, Denise, and Gwevevere. I know I missed some but I tried my best. Love ya all. Don't tell Mary Ann.

Awwwww hugs, xoxoxo.....

Mel's going home today! Mel's going home today! Woot! Woot!

Good Morning Mutants!
Another beautiful morning in Montrose!

Not sure what the rainbow holds for us. Been looking into jeep trails and day trips and such. The area is awesome and Montrose is an excellent base camp.

Have a mutantastic day! We'll do the same.

Oh - and it's nice to have the Ommms Generators operating on standby. So glad recoveries are taking place on schedule. Stay safe, happy and healthy one and all!
