Steve,

Ask your ophthalmologist about bifocal lens implants to replace those that the cataracts require removal. I had bifocal lens implants when my contacts were removed over 10 years ago.

Even if you only have a bifocal in one eye you can read without glasses. I have 2 different type bifocal lens implants -- one for reading and far distance and the other for middle distances, like a computer screen and far away. I only need help to see the tiniest print -- like on small OTC medicine bottles. I bet there are even better lenses available now.

It doesn't work for me to wear eyeglasses with Sena around and my eyes are too dry for contacts. The bifocal implants are worth every penny of the extra $ I paid for them.

Thanks mucho! Having fun learning to use the camera. Really like it. The problem here - everywhere you turn - something gorgeous to photograph.

Dunno, I was saying HB based on Richard/Ann's post about it being GMT. Doesn't matter, lots of happy birthday wishes are always good to send!

Today we drove a very small portion of the Escalante Canyon, Colorado. Annie was suffering from allergies so Jeff, Marcia and I made the journey in CR-V Mutant. So another site check off the list!

Got home around 3 p.m. RV is 99% unloaded. Son and DIL were here to help. Took them out to eat.

So, tired and going to bed. I'll catch up with all the love notes about me in the morning.

g'night all
