X2! When I start to think this recovery/rehab for my knee will never end and I'll die from boredom, I just jump on this thread and read .... A smile follows very quickly.
Am doing lots of planning (we're booked at Grand Teton & Yellowstone NPs for Dates in mid June - early July), altho I took a break from that for the last couple of days. Kate went to the movie store (Hasting's) and loaded up on movies. We had a movie marathon on Saturday. It's more fun going thru my exercises while watching a fun movie than just staring at the wall.
Very soon I'll post our Prescott, AZ dates. We hope some Mutants will join us! Dave has already promised to reveal what the area has to offer in the way of Mutant-worthy dining and entertainment. Plus our good friend who lives there can add to the "things to do in Prescott" list. And if memory serves me, there is a silent-type mutant who lives in that area. #61 or so?
Back to the thread for more ketchup reading.

We are thinking about doing 4 or 5 nights at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, near Cottonwood. It's at 3,300' elevation and will be gorgeous in early April. Verde River runs through the park, for those interested in fishing. We will probly go from there to Prescott. Dates soon ....

R U an RV Mutant too?
Mel, you can count on us for Prescott in April, and I have informed Nissa. And she is totally in, loves Dead Horse SP.
Okay, it's at least a Mini-C. Woot!
Hope some more RVMs in AZ can join us!

Your first responsibility is to learn how to pronounce the name. When you say PRESCOTT, think of the word BISCUIT. So Pres cott becomes Pres cuit. Of course, you Texan types already have that pronunciation thing under control. As in "y'all" and "all y'all". LOL
The only word we mess up is Warshington.

I thought it was pronounced Press Kit.

PawPaw Steve, our friend who lives in Prescott told us long ago that it's "Press Cuht" and you don't linger on the "cuht" part. My maternal grandma used to do the warsh on Saturdays. But I don't think she was from Indiana.
We have reservations for 4 nights at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. Check in on April 4 and out on April 8. Y'all come! (Next stop after Dead Horse: Two weeks (at least) in Press-cuht. ) Will post those dates soon. Jeff, Marcia, Dave, Nola and Nissa, hope to see you at either Dead Horse or Prescott! ... And any other brave Mutants who want to venture out that way!
You know what this means. We are committed. We HAVE to launch by March 29. OMG. Just a few more things to do. Like selling our house! We have good, long term renters in our homes in Ruidoso, NM and Pagosa Springs, CO. Once the TX house is sold, we're good to go!

Mel... does my heart good to hear you making plans and moving forward. Now remember - just because winter is coming - and Bow will be winterized doesn't mean you let em sit lonely. Exercise the generator monthly. Take Bow for a drive to keep em lubed and nimble. Give em love... and he'll be ready when you are.
You're plans sound wonderful and so much better than woe is me... barff... etc.
We continue to send you, Kate and Bow many Omms for healing and a smooth transition. We miss you two and if at all possible will see you in Az!
One day, one step at a time.
Annie says hi!

We decided to stay in Beaver an extra night. The RV park we are heading to is closed on Sunday and rumor here has it St George is booked through today for a hunters gathering.
It's cold and windy out but Bonita Bounder is warm as toast and the Dish is providing low grade entrainment...
Have a grand and glorious day mutants!
