The park here in St. George is pretty packed. There is an FMCA Jeep thing going on and the Huntsman World Senior Games have just wrapped up. Quite a change from when we were here on the way to Bryce. Of course it was 100+ degrees then. It's a plesant 67 degrees now and 54 is the expected low. Really nice. And no rain.

Well the camps look glamorous but they hold no candle to what we dined upon this evening.
We feasted upon grilled loin of Elk, seasoned with garlic and onion and berry of juniper
Alongside of a baked fresh spud of potato , and a fresh salad of garden greens ......
And it was deleeee ciousss !!

It looks delicious! I meant to pick one up on the way out of Montrose and forgot. I did get away with 9 trout and a bag of sliced almonds.
We still have a pound of ground elk and one of bison in the freezer. May need to have a slider taste test...
