Take your time, cover it up for now to get by without further water damage.
If you don't rush into things, perhaps another option will present itself.

Make the plan, Sister. Build the plan. Execute the plan.
I have no other advice.
Love youse two!

It all happens for a reason. Not at all worked up and in no hurry. Your right in time it will work out the way it should.

Hey Dwayne thank you for the compliment, but thankfully I just more or less confirmed that you are on the right path and the decisions you have made thus far are the correct ones.
I for one, am one, that believes that if something has a good frame and is mechanically sound its cheaper to do the repairs to keep it going. But from what you described of your magic carpet, my guess is you will always be chasing gremlins, and eventually it will get to the point of being fruitless.
We will be heading your way tomorrow, see you soon.

Cheers !!!

I thank you for the kudos, Bro! But just because I'm an antique does not mean my ideas are always wiser. More practiced, maybe.

Well I now have an email indicating the PayPal transaction has cleared with social knowlege, and looks like I'm back in business. Our neighbors yesterday brought back memories of youth!
