What she said! Pawpaw Steve, I think a couple of buttons off your shirt landed on our roof. I heard "tink, tink." Or maybe one of those buttons was yours and the other was Dave's. Either way, both you guys have lots to be proud of! Congrats!!!

I follow to learn.
To learn... ??? Lol. There's 2 or 3 semesters in that one picture alone lol. Not sure where you are but we did see a handful of various rainbow riders pulled off in Death Valley with solar panels raised. There were several areas like that and a RV park in there somewhere too... and a hotel and jeep rental.

Looks like a band will be playing tomorrow at Shoshone, but you seem to have all the bases covered!!

Steve,

I haven't been in a casino in years. I may not ever play slots again unless I can find some old slot machines that actually pay out coins. I tried one of the video slot machines and disliked the whole experience.

I like the feel of the coins as I insert them in the slot, the arm that is pulled down to start the reels turning and most of all -- the sound of the winning coins hitting the metal tray. Have you seen any of those slot machines?

Haven't seen any coin machines in a long time. I never really cared for the coins. Even wipes can't keep your hands clean when handling money. And carrying buckets around. Oh the humanity.

We did see this red and white novelty today... there was a rotary phone in the museum and they had a replica crank phone in the diner.

Come visit our S&B, we still have a working rotary! It's the only phone that still works when the electricity goes out! Plus after 36 yr at Ma Bell Mary has a wide collection of phone junk! Has the old headset and cords but luckily she didn't bring the board home One ringadingy, two ringadingy....

Great pics, Bro!
Hint: if you get up at sunrise and savor a steaming cuppa and ponder up a full day, darkness is more welcomed.

Hey Dave,

Attached is the book's front cover. I would have chosen one of her best illustrations for the cover, but this one is still good for a 14 or 15 yo. I don't know when she drew this particular illustration. All illustrations are color pencil. Originals were usually approximately 16 x 12.

Her grandmother and I had tears in our eyes when we realized that her dream was coming true.

Steve and Mary Ann, as it is with you two for Grace, it is also for us. Seeing that they can ponder visions beyond themselves that are a benefit for them and a gift to mankind is a thrill that brings tears of joy. To revel in it and boast is our responsibility, eh?
BTW, Bradley spent 2 years designing, developing and building his Eagle project (and he also has a lava lamp). Megan? She is simply Iron Woman.

I guess I need it more than most, and don't see it every day (no alarm clock!). But the joy is there to be had!
What off road niftiness might we ponder together one morning? Oh my!

I like the old coin drop arm pull slot machines. It's all in the timing. Once you get the timing down on the arm pull you can just about manipulate the wheels. I made enough on those machines for a lot of trinkets, like golf clubs, etc.
