Mel, thanks for the chat yesterday and have a great birthday and I know that Kate will spoil you even more today just because,

Ted, way up over there in the Frozen wilderness north of Toronto, you too have a great birthday and get Tina to spoil you again.

Di I got your spread sheet and thanks for that. We will be able to move to a "C" of any size iffen y'all let we know its a happening

While we are down there we want to play at the Maricopa Live Steamers site and also the Scottsdale Live Steamers. Denise will probably want to play in a Casino or two but I'm cool just watching everyone else play in those things.

Now our task is to establish a workable schedule for the most mutants.

I would say that:
1) the area of Arizona is quite doable.
2) The cost is really decent.
3) The sites are good enough for a week's stay (pictures show that some of us will need to purchase some "stinky Slinky" extensions or plan of visiting the dump station once or twice).
4) The facilities at the park seem adequate (might have to fire up a couple propane campfires as a last resort).
5) the park seems to be willing to accommodate our "special needs".

So . . . . . let me call the RV office at PCF. I will check or double check on:
1. definite dates open to a gathering of mutants so we can "circle the wagons" and really have a shindig
2. Availability of campfire rings
3. putting together a set of choices to put before all of you mutants that can head to Tucson in January or February.
4. get the park's input on where the best area is for a group like ours (close to pavilion, close to mid-coach sewer hook-ups, close to area where they or we can move picnic tables to our sites, etc)

If you prefer, I can gather input from you at an alternate website but I have no idea how to do that and I don't know if all mutants could or would follow our progress in planning. I don't want to "clog up" our thread with info that concerns 8 - 15 sets of mutants. SO HELP ME PLEASE ON THE ALTERNATE SITE

Stay tuned to this thread. I'll try to work on this planning thing during November and have things ready to "run by ya'all" as soon as possible.
Steve, we already have a Yahoo email list for GC planning. It's RVM-GC@yahoogroups.com. If you are already a member just send email to that address. If you aren't a member just email or PM me your preferred email address and your RVM number.

To all you lurkers out there -- if you want to join the best group of crazy people on the planet come forth and declare what your RV doesn't have that you don't miss. Then affirm that "The journey is the destination." Easy peezy! Then you too can join the fun in Arizona this winter or at a gathering somewhere around the country. Mutants are mobile!

I was thinking all along that Feb. 1 - 7 would be good for many. Many will be moving about at the end of January and some mutants will just be arriving in the arid southwest about then. However, I will get some dates and run a poll of likely attendees.
Steve - I think we may even have a PF Chang gift card!
And it's the home of my favorite whiskey sour...!

I was once a member but I unsubscribed due to my lack of willingness to read a lot more posts. Nothing against the site. Just not my "cup of tea".

Could you email me the addresses for Dwayne and Shara, Dale and Deb, and Marty and Bob.

None of my initial emails bounced back as "undeliverable" so I guess the ones I sent were to valid addresses.

Ha Ken have you found a RV yet? Mary and I will most likely be coming up your way, or at least up around Rezmans area ( don't let him know we're coming) sometime next year. RV not necessary for a mini but you might want to travel up to the maritime area with us! I've been practicing my northern accent so I don't stand out. Baaa Haaabor, Clllaam Chowwwder! Sounding good hu?

Glad you mentioned this Tim. I brought the Maritimes up with Dave yesterday on the phone.
We should get to planning soon.

We'll be ready, sounds like we'll be missing lots of fun in AZ but come next year I hope to have our calendar open!

Did find a date in June that will require us being home. Grand child #5 on its way. This one will be living next door! Woot woot!
