Ed,
If that email didn't come from a Nigerian prince or one of his counterparts I hope you can make the numbers work for you.
I was really happy at my last j*b and I was never planning to retire. Then an inheritance changed my numbers and ambition. It didn't take long to weigh the options and figure out that retirement and riding the Rainbow would be a heck of a lot more fun.
No one on their death bed ever says, "I wish I had worked a few years longer."

I can't imagine signing off on such a botched job. These are supposed to be gently progressive color changes. Martin thinks the grey looks like the edge of a shadow and the red like a skin disease. 😡
I do know this is nothing like Bow or Citrus' problems, but we're still disappointed. I was looking forward to getting organized for leaving. 😕
Sigh. We drove home in the Jeep.
On the bright side, we met a coupla Canucks who might pop in over here lookin for a little craziness. We had a good ol' natter by the rigs and over breakfast too. (Food always seems to figure!) Keep an eye out for new lurkers. 👀 We gave em the membership requirements and they seemed up to the challenge. 😎

Sue and Martin, so very sorry to hear of Bella's shadows and skin diseases. I sure hope you inform your insurance adjust of the situation. Did Marin get "bloody" mad?

Back to the email... received an offer for early retirement. Of course Jackie imediately said take it, while I put pencil to paper trying to see how it might play out. The offer is too good not to take their money and do something, so currently waiting to see if I am in the first 200 and get accepted.
While doing what I do for w**k yestetday walked into a job opening that I think I could snag... hmm this might all work out and put us money ahead. Jackie is a little sad but I think having enough $$$$ to enjoy the rainbow is important.
Haven't slept well this week... a few fingers crossed and ohms if you will might help.

Ed, congratulations on early retirement - if accepted. However, regarding going back to W**K, well, whatever lifts your skirt. It's a good thing Jackie is not working. When Earlene retired our income rose considerably since she didn't have to buy clothes and shoes anymore. Men will understand that.
Now it's just house remodelling, painting, driveway repair, and still not as expensive as new clothes and shoes.

And don't forget the part where what's hers is hers and what's yours is hers.
Edited: Darn! You are already in that situation. Sorry! Go for it.

Good morning mutants!
Not much to say today. Doc tomorrow... not sure what today holds just yet. Still need to do something about a March location.
So Wayne - where did you stay in Sedona? I see there is a landscape photographer there that does private sessions. And only about a million other things to see and do.

Just because he's a vast waistland doesn't mean he needs a landscape photographer to get his portrait done.
Myself I just get a regular photographer with an extra wide wide-angle and we're home free.

Not-Wayne says: We stayed up Oak Creek Canyon at a rustic motel. No space for RVs, but a beautiful scenic drive.
Returning you to a real Wayne.....
Come in, Wayne. Your mike is live.

X many to youse two!
FYI, Sedona is nifty but I prefer to stay in cheaper but still nice digs about 1/2 hour away. Sedona is a high demand area for campsites and the prices show it. Camp Verde and Cottonwood are easier to get into.
BTW, in talking with lots of RVers and camp owner/manager folks, this season has shown an unusually high demand and booking rate, thus many totally or near full on reservations. They all say it is due to low fuel costs.
We were lucky to squeak in this year!

We have heard that too and experienced it in trying to get reservations. We have gotten some good places booked at a little more expense than expected for winter but sort of expected it given we aren't locking in for 3 months. It's all good. Hopefully the weather gods will smile on our chosen locations.
