You have a propane powered firepit. That's one I know of. Any other attendees have one?

See ya in AJ.
Thanks Steve. Nice chatting with you off and on the past few days...

As for meals perhaps Di can bring some of this with her. If she's low on meat - I'm sure Tim has a couple hundred squirrel in his freezer. Just don't tell Sparky about this....

Holy Smokes. It's a quiet day on the Mutant thread. I guess Deb chased everyone off with the mention of snow. Or maybe my going to the FESWGC at Pima Cty Fairgrounds has mutants rethinking their plans???

Ummm, no, I believe it was the Squirrel helper, we are all thinking about dear Sparky....

That and I was out digging up my sweet potatoes and a couple of long white daikon radishes, gosh, they pertennear went to china! The sweet potatoes were pointed down this year too, headed for china... Last time I planted them, they ran along the dirt and pretty much were easy to just pull out because they went sideways, I suppose it was the raised bed they had been in, this year, they were just in the unraised beds with heavy much on them... note to self for next year, raise the beds! Done wore myself out and I'm only half done. taking a coffee break. It was a good year for sweet potatoes.

Love me some sweet taters!
Picked up a bag of organic multicolored baby carrots the other day. I was surprised at how good they are. They would make great juice.

But because we love our mutant family so much - I have reserved space 219 at the Pima County Fairgrounds - In Feb 1st and out Feb 8th when we head for Yuma for a month.
So once again - Mutants at what will hopefully become a GC, will have to endure both the Poobah and Potentate...

Now - let's get the head count high enough that I fire up the smoker and practice my slow cooking skills. I need a volunteer to help me tend the fire...
FANTASTIC !!! Gives me one more reason to find a way to get there..

And one possum will be at the FESWC...
A Cletus by any other name is still a Possum and vice versa...

Southwest mutants

FESWMG - - remember to PM me when you make your reservations AND give me your assigned site #.

Humble suggestion:

We'll have a potluck in the "restaurant" the first night (Feb. 1) at 5:30. We will discuss our plans for the week.

Potluck again the 2nd night (Feb. 2) also in the "restaurant". The theme will be your easiest throw together salad or appetizer. May be the last night we have use of the old "restaurant". (We'll know more as timeline moves along) Perhaps a good time for opening ceremonies and/or more organizational planning for this weeklong fiesta.

Both nights we will return to our RV's and enjoy fake fires and authentic fine wine and other honest to goodness drinks.
