That is assuming you lot would eat them, I have a BBQ to cook em on and I can find a supply of Fresh in January before I leave. If all that fails I could bring smoked or candied salmon for you enjoyment.
Dennis, bringing your propane firepit is appreciated. Two yours and Steve's should be enough for our group to encircle each night. I'm hoping that one of our campsites is large enough for the campfire event each night.

Looking forward to meeting you and Denise.

Don't mess with us...we wrestle alligators. OK...so Trixie is only 5 years old but she looks like she would bite your nose off given a chance.

We had a fun airboat ride at Captain Fred's Airboat Tours at Lake Hamilton, FL. It was a bit late in the day and with record warm temps the bigger gators were down in the deeper waters but we did see a mama gator hovering around some babies. Lots of birds including a couple bald eagles were seen while on the ride.

Good morning Possum! The only time I went to Canada I bought some oranges but the U.S. Border guard confiscated them. Now I wonder if he was just grocery shopping the easy way?

As Dunner used to say, "Google is your friend". Yes you can bring in frozen fish for personal use. I'd worry about raw fish that many days in an ice chest.

Is anyone bringing a portable canopy for shade. Will we need shade in Tucson in February?

I enjoyed the Tucson Botanical Gardens in 2011. Who knew there were so many varieties of cactus?

We also went to the MCD factory and went the expensive route. It turned out we got a pretty fair price as "return customers" when they offered to replace the motorized windshield shades and motors at a VERY nice price.

I have to admit I have mixed emotions about MCD nearly 2 years out.

1. The new day/night shades are heavier than the original ones we had. That means they SHOULD HAVE braced some of them with a 1X4 because otherwise they only screwed them into 1/4 plywood and a few either came down or were about to. The good news is that they paid another place to do that bracing and re-installation.

2. The windshield material could be heavier. We have developed a couple "thin" spots on our night shades that let sun through. Not a big deal but still bugs us. We may stop by this spring and let them see the issue and find a good answer.

3. We didn't even want to add the complexity and costs of motors for the other shades but I understand what you are getting at for your needs.

Once we sorted out the mounting of the heavier shades we have been pleased with them. The old ones were horrible in holding position. BTW...I had them "custom" cut my driver's side day shade. It doesn't cover the whole window but I can pull it down all the way and still see my rearview mirror. It makes a big difference when sun is pouring into my side window.
