Smile Big change!

Well...

We arrived in Polk City, FL a week ago with plans to scoot across the gulf towards TX but...We really like it here! OK...we really like what we see but we need to "test drive" it so we are making plans to stay the entire winter here. We should know within a couple days what site we are renting and look forward to exploring the area.

One of our goals in going full time was to find a place to anchor to for the winter months and to give us something to go to if and when we change our FT approach. We have found that while we don't particularly want to be stationary for 3-4 months we aren't looking to go big and build some place yet either. While we did enjoy our time in the RGV it was somewhat claustrophobic. The lots were close together and getting in and out of where we stayed wasn't something that was fun if we wanted to do an excursion. The places we are looking at are truly RV communities located between Tampa and Orlando with well planned sites. What is nice is that these places are much more friendly to pulling up jacks and taking side trips. They also allow us to start with a basic pad and then later build if we choose to.

So...we will see how this plays out but at least for this winter we expect to have lots of fun looking around and enjoying another warm winter.

My thanks to all of those that served, and to the wives, husbands, and families that were our support teams!
We will celebrate at Fred's Arena, Bar and Steakhouse.

Oh the humanity!

Dave I've been thinking about this alternative to "Men in Black" , that being "Men in Suspenders". Jumping ahead to the Great Mutant Maritime Adventure I think all the mutant men would look good in suspenders. Do you think we would blend in with the locals better if we dress that way?

Goodnight mutants!
Mine just got winterized yesterday. Waiting for new shower skylight to arrive at RV shop, install, then bring her home to put to bed.

Tim, you have hit on a truly Mutated idea!
I started wearing suspenders in 2012, both for comfort and to be a style trend setter.
Ponder: all RVMs with suspenders; suspenders over Kimono; suspenders over mankinis; all properly color coordinated of course.
Men in Suspenders? Nice! All RVMs in Suspenders? Priceless!
Would we blend in? Naw. We would be the trend setters that get the "Holy Crap" responses.
Hay STMs! Show me your SUSPENDERS
Tim, I give you an OH YEAH

At some point I may have to go blow out the lines, other than that, no.

Winterized and taken down to lower elevation for the winter. It is about 32° F now and snowing again. Hey, for once, the weatherman got it right.

Salute to all the vets out there and thanks for your service!
