Our thoughts and prayers and ohmmms are with you. Having a child turn away from all you have taught and tried to instill in them is heart breaking and I feel your pain. This a true tussle between head and heart. With the numbers given at the moment, we think the head will win.

Oh my! Gorgeous.

This one is sure nice. We decided that an extra 100 a month was sure worth it for us. So very glad we did. Havent regretted it at all.

Don & Sandee, This affects more families than most realize these days. I feel terrible for you and understand completely. My best wishes to all of you and hope for healing as you go forward.

Its a Sunbeam Ceramic heater we had for a long time. Our gas furnace works great, but when I'm in a RV spot I use it because it's quiet. When temps go down to 30s the gas furnace and hear pumps go off and on a lot. 1500 watts also. It just comes in handy when the temps are low in combination with wind.

Once upon a time in my B Van the gas furnace ran all night...

We got some of it in the RGV last year. I looked at the Mr. Heater Big Buddy propane space heater. It looks like it might use a lot of propane... but like it would put out some heat.

Two ceramics equals twice my electric furnace element. I use one 1500W in the bedroom and shut the bedroom door, unless below 30. Then, 2 units and all is well.
Propane inside puts out bad stuff, requires ventilation! An much of it.

Ah-yup. And giggled again. 😏

If you spend half the year in a place, it makes sense to make it the best you can for your needs. I'm struggling not to fall in love with the AT.

"Aughhh!" (Charlie Brown) I hate making difficult decisions.

Dave, do we really get to throw out drunks? Like in: out the saloon doors into the dust? Or: out the nightclub entrance into traffic? Jus' like in da movies!

Steve,

Hope you don't mind me adding my nickels worth about heaters. I was looking for a new space heater 3 years ago, but wanted one with a thermostat. Instead I ended up buying this plug-in thermostat which is very accurate and adding any electric heater.

Dave - I think these are safe to use indoors.

http://www.mrheater.com/product/heaters.html?cat=95

When I was looking at them last year, there were posts and or threads about them. I think I may just stay with the house systems.
