Hopefully not more stuff, but definitely more per square foot.

Now I'm looking into having my wooden countertops and Sena's place in the cab-over resurfaced with the paint on stuff that looks like stone. Has anyone here had that done in their RV or S&B?

Now let's get the numbers up for FEM&MGC...
It's a Win / Win / Win situation. Win if Maine only - Win if Maritimes only - if both Win!

Poor Dale got into trouble and he doesn't even read the comments. LOL.

I have lived in Idaho almost all of my life and I didn't ever know what was so special about an Idaho potato until eating in a fancy restaurant back east one time. We don't see them in the grocery stores. We usually have little WA potatoes.

But then, there is always this:

I need to share some frustrations:
1) The Pima County Fairgrounds Campground (PCFC) does NOT take reservations of any kind. All 260 sites are first come-first served.

2) The fair board had a special meeting and voted to reserve 15 sites for our mutant gathering. 10 back-to-back and 5 more in a line with one of the 5 others.

3) The first 15 now have a guaranteed spot to camp. You know who you are.

4) The other 4 (RVMs 13, 86, 110, 127) have a 95% chance of having a campsite inside the fairgrounds. They (PCFC) may have another meeting to see if they can guarantee 5 more sites. RVM80 is commuting from home.

5) The "availability" of sites (by going through me) is now closed except on a "you might have a site when you show up" basis.

Note: I am not happy. Various people at the other end of the phone implied that room would be made for mutants as needed. A six week horse show lands on our dates in February. That appears to be the the PCFC's "bread and butter" and the PCFC came up with "first come - first served" years ago to take the heat off of their backs (so to speak). I apologize but I was "blindsided" by this development. The PCFC says that they have not heard from RVM 86 & 127. It appears, unless I get 4 more spots promised, that the last 4 mutants will need to be in communication with PCFC and arrive early. 520-762-9100 ext.1026 Gol dang it anyway - - - - GEEEESH
I think it's amazing how much you've accomplished in all of this effort Steve! I thank you so much for coordinating this as it's obviously a lot of tasking effort.

It'll all work out in the end and we'll live to tell grand tales of it all afterwards!

Cya in Feb!

Thanx all for the kind words. I (we) just enjoy these gatherings so much and have established such good friendships and relationships that I knew that it wasn't going to happen if it was announced that "the desert has a lot of space out by Quartzite".

Too many of us mutants are so refined and dignified that we would not think of parking our motor homes in the middle of nowhere hoping that the wind stays gentile and the rain is nonexistent. LOL

Seriously, it'll be great to gather with several familiar STMs and a few FACES. Fellow mutants should not be shy in joining in the festivities at these gatherings because the newbies are welcomed with open arms.

Can't wait.

The evening was great, the food was very good, and the company was excellent. It is sad to see them have to go back to where Tim is. So sad, and so very sad they cannot stay longer.

Thank you Di and Larry for visiting us.

Looks like you have done it again Earlene! I mean Wayne. Another excellent hosting of Mutants in your home and on the Gulf Coast.

I poke you and TC brother, but I have great memories of the place and Galveston, Freeport, Quintana, Sergeant, etc. And more recently, Rockport, which is hard to believe was a year ago!

C'ya soon.

Oh Steve, by the way, Earlene came home from grocery shopping today and guess what we are having for Thanksgiving dinner. (I saw oysters.)
