We got talking to them and it turned out they were on a field trip associated with the UFO convention going on in Laughlin. It was difficult not to like them - they were so wrapped up on their beliefs in UFOs, it was almost like a cult. I mentioned that Sue and I sometimes sit out on our deck just after sunset and watch satellites go by: on one occasion seeing three in "formation". Oh no, they said that would have been a battle going on.

They claimed their viewing equipment was military grade stuff and they invited us to stay a while and join in their viewing and discussions. We decided to go back to Needles and I do still wonder whether or not we missed a life changing experience.
Martin... I suspect we will never know. Any advanced life form would likely just cruise on by... lol. Of course they may land in Tucson sometime between Feb 1 and 7....

And there were actually 8 tablets, right? It's that newest math they're now teaching.

Hey Tim, you went to pharmacy school. Is that how they taught you to count?

Watch out for the traffic circles in Wickenburg. They are 2 lanes and rather confusing. I'm not sure Bonita's turning radius is small enough to make it in the left lane.

There are 3 of them -- otherwise known as the 3 circles of hell.

Thanks Barb - been through a few roundabouts with Bonita and CR-V Mutant in tow. Including 3 in a row in Blue Earth MN before picking up I-90 coming out of Forest City IA. Not a problem as long as the traffic is light. As it is, we gots all day lol. Really looking forward to seeing our new friends Bob and Fran there. They would be perfect mutants but not too tech saavy.
