Biting ants? Sugar ants? Fat ants? Terro and your other assorteds are working for you?

Don't know about the biting ones, but boric acid works for the others. (Keep pets away.) Mix it in with their food of choice, say mint jelly or peanut butter, and they carry it back to the nest for their queen and the other stay-at-homes. End of nest.

Young memory: tent camping with my Bluebird troop in a piney forest somewhere in CA with my mother the leader, and one of the girls wakes up from a nightmare and yells out, "Aunt Betty? I HATE ants!"

Sue - they were sugar ants and never got out of hand thanks to my ant hunter Annie. She saw a few and oh - Terro and Combat baits and Terro granules and a spray the CG guy was carrying around on his cart. But it was a first for us. Glad they were defeated is all I can say.

Another fan of Terro and Uncle Albert's Super Smart Ant Bait. Yes, Uncle... Stuff works. Was recommended by a professional pest control store.

So sorry to hear your Mom's news, Dogpatch! It's always going to be a shock to the mind to hear this from or about a loved one. She's fortunate you were able to be with her for a while as she begins this unplanned journey. All the best to her and to all those of you supporting her. She needs you all!

" It showed clear May 13th." Best news so far, right? Being ill sucks, but if that's the price required, you seem to be doing the best thing: keep putting one foot in front of the other. Best of luck with "the pictures" this month!

DH's friend from work used to put on Punch and Judy shows in his spare time and loved doing all the voices with his puppets. He had throat surgery to stop snoring (admittedly much less serious than your situation!) and it went very well. The only problem was, he complained, he couldn't do the crocodile voice any more.

All the best! Keep testing those taste buds on Bacon and you'll soon be back to fighting weight!

Hey Sue,

Welcome back, I was wondering where you had been, just remember to hold on tight to the rainbow, cause if ya fall off it takes a mighty effort to catch back up, and while you were away, we added some more to the group as well, does it get any better than that ?

Besides I was missing my cheering partner !!!!

Cheers !!!

I'm still 3 pages back but wanted to vote on this before I forget. I vote for a 2.5 on the hot scale -- 1 is what you'd fed your 11 month old and 10 would make someone with no taste buds cry. you can always add heat, but I can't take it away.

Back to reading.

Help that isnt Help

Hello My Mutated Mutant Friends,

Well today, I once again set forth on my task to take off the nasty scratched Diamond Shield glues to the front of the coach, I made and effort to only bring out half the tools I had out before, but I still ended up with three others standing about as I scraped and cleaned off the plastic shield and then the glue stuck to the paint underneath. They talked and I worked, and then one had the audacity to ask me to do his when I'm done with mine. ( I was thinking when pigs fly, but I didnt say any thing) anyway I worked until I reached the headlight and then began more glue removal, even after looking it up here in iRV2, all it amounts to is a tedious job, but once the last of the glue comes off it sure looks good. So now I am in the process of replenishing my fluids !!!!!!!

Cheers !!!!

Wheee! That is some fancy ride you got yourself there! Now that your furlough is over (it is, isn't it?), you should be thoroughly destressed! And soon to be totally unstressed, too.

Hey, you and Sandee coming over? PM when you decide.

Cheers!

Evening Barb,

2.5 is a good base to start from and yup you can bump it up from there, do you use fresh cracked pepper in it? I have found I have become a big fan of fresh cracked pepper.

Cheers !!!
