Hopefully he's not a people eater too. You see, my Brother is 6 years older and I was listening to the Troggs when I was 6...& the purple people eater song has nothing to do with the Troggs.

PLEASE research different breeds and make sure you and your new pup are good matches. The next door neighbors here have a working breed dog that is left outside all day without a job to do. So it is miserable and is doing much to drive us crazy with it's high pitched barking.

And if barking bothers you don't get a yorkie or yorkie cross. Ask me how I know that

Deb, it sounds like fun! I actually like the cold when properly dressed for it. Don't do the 4 wheeler in the cold anymore, moved up to a Polaris Ranger with a windshield! Good luck with the smoke pole!

I hear you, Barb. If we get another pal he/she needs to be small and mellow.

One of the lurkers sticking his nose in late at night...

Getting ready for Tuesday's trip south to Florida for the winter. Emptying the cabinets in the S&B of food & stuff to take. Got a Verizon Jetpack for the mobile Internet. MH got an oil change & chassis lube. Got all the bills set for autopay and paperless. Still have to set up mail forwarding and a few other loose ends. Got the dogs' shots updated so they can go too. Get to practice hooking up the trailer and loading the car this weekend.

Figures...everyone else is going West this winter and I'm headed South. Talk about taking that fabled wrong turn at Albuqurque (sp?)...

I lurk here almost everyday. We are in Yuma until 12/13, then off to Temecula and San Diego. The month of January will be Desert Springs, and then Tucson for February. The Desert is our favorite place.

You are only a lurker if you haven't declared your mutantcy. Sooooo you 2 Dave's are murkers aka mutant lurkers. Sure wish you'd join the fun more often. We need others to pick on. It's getting hard to find new ways to insult Wayne.

Murking here. Nothing to report. Bad cats. Catching up on w*rk. Hating Kansas weather. Can't wait to get back to the southwest.
