Have you tried acetone on the glue? It should work better the goof off. I've used it on ours to get various things off. It usually does pretty good. We've had no trouble with it attacking the fiberglass.

But wouldn't the acetone attack the paint?

Now the ponder starts. Carry a tune, pour it out and play along or fill it with an all night magically musical concoction?

WHAT!!!! You were that close and you did not come down to see us! We were up on Bay Area Blvd for a little shopping and I could have reached out the window and slapped you!!

Are you still in the area? If so, when are you leaving? OR, do you live close by. Darn! I could have hop-scotched over to LaPorte.

Come on now! None of that tasteless sauce. I carry Habenero sauce with me when I travel. Some day I'll fire up your taste buds a little bit.

We have a Habenero Pepper plant outside. My younger son eats habenero peppers for his lunch. Yesterday he picked one off the plant and sliced it thing and we shared some. It was sweet and good, just a little hot. I bought him a bottle of Dave's Insanity hot sauce. Can't wait for a report from him. On the bottle it states it can be used to strip wax off floors. Some of their sauces need to be wrapped in caution tape.

Somebody mentioned "winterize."

What's that?

DW said it was 62 degrees when she got up this morning, but that is way before the Sun comes up. Right now at 11 a.m. the cool front is keeping it at 66 degrees. Expected to get to 74 by this afternoon.

COMEONDOWN!

Wayne why didn't ya shout when we went by? Yeah we are here for the weekend watching the grands play ball. Twins are in Deer Park and the other one is here in La Porte. I'm waiting for the rent car agency to pick me up and take me to get a car so we can bounce back and forth.

Jeff - when I said we punched up ZingZang I wasn't foolin'. I'm sure you would be more than satisfied with the heat. I use a few squirts of Saracha - Tabasco - to add some heat to the already delectably spiced / flavored ZZ mixer - then use horseradish to add flavor and it's own special heat. A little celery salt - garlic powder and Worcester sauce. And of course black pepper. It's an art form. There is one mix I found that was Texas hot and I tell ya - had to tone it down a bit for the guests.

If ya haven't tried Zing Zang - give er a try. I have also had good results with Spicy V8 as a mix and punching it up. At one time I had gotten a lot of compliments on that concoction and had thought about making Christmas baskets with a bottle of the V8 and Sky and packaging the mix in bottles. Just never got around to it. Still think it's a good idea. Maybe this year...

Hi Bob,

I have not tried acetone as of yet, I did find out that Goo Gone makes an automotive glue remover that is safe for paint, the goo gone I have been using is more or less household, so I'll try some of that and maybe get a small bottle of acetone as well and try it on a small unseen part.

Cheers !!!

Hi Steve !!,

Gotcha, I have never heard of Zing Zang before, I can assure you that it is not available in Michigan, and right now being in the southwest I'm sure I could find it. But, I have found that if you truely wish to enjoy a Bloody Mary it is best to learn from someone that has perfected it, the last Bloody Marys we had were made by my sister in laws brother and I have to tell you they were an incredible wake up after a late night or early early morning before, dont ask me how I know this but I think it was around some summer self made holiday, I do remember it was in Michigan though...

Cheers !!!
