People use dogs like Bess to herd them away from areas where people want to play, her brother Bruce works in the KC area... their posture and manner makes them look like coyotes on the hunt, but they are trained just to move them away ...get them to fly off to another area, they bring the dogs in at a different time each day so the geese don't get used to seeing them at the same spots/same time. The dogs even swim after reluctant flyers to get them moving away. When I went to the farm to pick a dog, it was between Bess and Bruce... Bess tried harder for my affection. I figured she was up to the task of being my cancer recovery plan, and boy we sure put the miles on walking since then, she doesn't let you be if you have sat around on your rumpus for too long.

Second, declare that the "Journey is my Destination"... I have no hint for this one...
Finally, I noticed you are from Mexicafornia & I completely understand that anyone from Chula Vista will make their own rules...

Well I was told to look around my RV to talk about something my RV has or does not have that I do not miss.
1. It does not have any slide out,,,,, Would like to have one but I sure as heck do not miss having one.
My favorite destination is somewhere where it's quiet and there are no beggar's asking for loose change.

Welcome w6pea aka RVM129! You have joined a great group of mutants. Tell us a little more about yourself.
DH & I live in the great state of Idaho and are RV part timers. I still have an almost 92 year old dad that I keep a close eye on so we can't be gone on the road for an extended period of time yet. But one day... If you are ever in our neck of the woods, we'd love to mini-c with you. (mini-c is a get together of a small group of mutants, Can't remember how many). Who has our lexicon for mutant talk?

So good to have you join us, Pat. I have sent you 2 PMs that will help you navigate this new world you have just joined. I hope you have as much fun here as I do.
When Steve mentioned that 16 of us will be in Tucson the first week of February, he failed to mention that's 16 rigs which equates to about 29 people, plus a few that will join us without their Rainbow Riders.
And if you are a solo rider like myself, be assured that you will feel very welcomed into this quirky family. Our Grande Curiosities are fun and memorable experiences. I do hope you can join us.
