I heartily agree!
In our family, baking lefse and making a variety of Scandanavian candies and such were a steadfast tradition that was always yummy, happy, and memorable.

Mark,

Here's how I added the RVM seal below my user name --

First save the RVM seal to your photos file, then click on User CP in the upper left corner of this page. Then in the left column click on Edit Avitar. Next scroll down and select Use Custom Avatar. Then follow the prompts there.

I believe you have to be an IRV2 supporter to be able to add a custom avatar, but I wouldn't swear to it. If you need help contac Dennis, aka Possum, aka AKA Cletus. He changes avatars and user names monthly.

That last pic is fascinating. Good eye !

I'm glad you've been to the Center of the World, because, as you may know, 7 miles from our hill is Philo, IL, official Center of the Universe. Says so right up there on the water tower.

So: we bank at the center of the universe, eat lunch there sometimes, stop at the post office -- all at the center of the universe. Cool, eh?

You guys rock!

Thank you to all. Merry Christmas.
I got the email welcoming you to the group. Previously I looked you up on QRZ.com and replied to Pat##*% instead of just Pat. How was I supposed to know.

So, Pat A. welcome to the group. Don't forget to send me an email via the other means of communications asking for my theme song.

KE5QG sends.

For those going to Dead Horse Ranch, I'm thinking we could do some pot lucks during the week. If anyone is up to organizing that, go for it! I am just not up to organizing a thing, seeing how I have to have tkr #2, recover from tkr #2, pack a house, sell a house, and organize Bow for the outer Rainbow ...all before the end of March. Not complaining or whining, just stating facts. ...

Or, I'll be happy to help organize some meals and activities once we are at Dead Horse. I'm thinking low-key and no pressure. We will no doubt have plenty of adult beverages to go around! And Kate and I are planning a special treat for everyone there! (And no, it does not involve dancing, thank the Rainbow.)

Can hardly wait!!!
