Mel,

Denise is a very patient person (Hey she must be she married me) and I am sure she could teach Kate the basics in a few minutes. If that doesn't work we can plays sticks. Its a hoot if you are somewhat narcissistic. Bwahahahaha

Denise is ROYALTY. Just sayin'.

I am crossing fingers and toes and hoping to see you two at Dead Horse! But, I know if we don't meet up there, it will be someplace else at another time.

Like the idea of portable campfires and will be happy to listen in on any recommendations Barry receives. We might have to find room for one.

Hi, Barry and Pat! Where in Wales do you hail from? We traveled in Wales some during the 4 years we spent in Wiltshire and enjoyed it. Reading road signs was a bit challenging, of course., but we managed not to get lost. Much. 😎 It was a joy to hear Welsh spoken a few places, and not just by old folks, either. Too many languages are being lost around the world already.

Well, we got 12" of snow in 32 hours, with drifts up to 8'. For some of yall who live in the north land that's no big deal, but we're not used to that kind of snow. Opened the garage door to find snow drifted up about 2&1/2 ft. A foot of snow in the paved alley, which is where our garage opens to. Temps in the 9-15 degree range for nights this week and not above freezing during the day til the weekend.

Most businesses were closed today (including my surgeon's clinic) due to the ice and snow covering all the highways and streets. I'm not sure we will be able to get to the hospital at 5:30 on Wednesday morning for my surgery. News reports said there were 500 vehicles stuck in snow drifts throughout the city. Folks who thought they could get out and go somewhere. Ha! A friend of ours got stuck in a 4 wheel drive Jeep. It doesn't look good.

YIPPEE! I forecast a Mexican Train tournament! And when that's done, we'll just start another one with a different game.

I've got the pic thing down ... sideways.
I have no idea how to get pics posted upright. I took those most recent ones with my tablet.
