And then Annie had a ponder of her own. We can bring coloring books, story books, etc. Colleen and Earlene have agreed to take them to a children's hospital or centers back home and spread the cheer.

Now is the time to head to the local stores and hit the sales for the bargins. Again - optional but a good cause and something we can do to pass along good mutant cheer and put smiles on some kids faces.
Sound good???

OPTIONAL........ You wait till Papaw Steve is on the road... Lol.... His theme was no theme....

ok one night i was gonna host movie night... "Inside Out" movie at my cow..... If you havent heard if it... It us the Disney version of what goes on inside of a 12 year old girls emotions. Best movie ever.......
I shall be "joy" as always.... But no costumes for this event.......
Perhaps colors....
Joy is yellow
Sadness is blue
Anger is red
Disgust is green
Fear is purple
Btw watched this the first time with a ped. psychiatrist, she was impressed.....

Happy New Year Mutants..

So much wonderful banter this beautiful day! Don't know where to begin.

Mel... I was actually born in California and moved a few miles up the road from Wayne and Earlene when I was 10.

Bob and Teffy... wonderful to hear from you! Sure been missing you around here.

Di... the idea of storybook is of course optional. But it should be easy enough. And every town on the rainbow seems to have a Dollar Store, General, a Walmart, etc. that would have something inexpensive for the kiddos or for a cheap prop for storybook character. Sue already has a grass skirt... Jungle Book - Lion King - must have been a grass skirt in there somewhere. As for me... I already look like Fred Flintstone... and if Dave isn't a Barney Rubble I don't know who is. Lol.

Back at youse later! Have a great day and grandest of New Years!

A happy New Year to all you crazy Mutants and of course the lurkers...com'on in the water's fine.

Pat and I are making our way west to Tucson for the February study class. We''re currently at Marble Falls, Texas, with plans made for our next stop at Buckhorn Lake, Kerrville, Texas. Ok where after that? All i can see on the maps is open space and a few small towns along I-10, does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for stopovers between Kerrville and Tucson. We'd like to stay south as it's cold enough anyway.

Thank you all,

I redact that comment, I just found out he's from califoornie so at best he hardly qualifies as a tatertot.

BTW all, We are again off to the wilds of the infamous and nefarious "HUMP" pass to get us to the other side of the mountain from this here side of said pile of rocks. So we will be out of here and off line until sometime next year.

That said, thank you for the wonderful silliness you have provided us this past number of years and our sincere wish for a

HAPPY NEW YEAR

safe travels to all and healing ommss to who needs them.

Hey Papaw and Maryann! Good day t'ya and remember: don't drive faster than your guardian angel can fly. See ya soon...ish. 🌈

We are sneaking up on El Paso(about 100 miles). Staying in Deming, NM and then AJ tomorrow in early PM.

Mini-C was excellent fun. Note to all fellow mutants- - mini's and midi's do not need to be a well planned venture. Just PM or text and see if it can happen. "Just lunch" and drive on is worth the small amount of effort it takes. On a tight schedule? Explain that when you make the invite.

Happy belated birthday Steve. See you and Annie real soon.
