Lord, be with the mutant woman Shara and the doc exploring her gut... and help him figure it out and fix it.
Dwayne, ya never can give up hope for finding a fix, so ya open every possible door looking for answers. Ya did the right thing. If they find nothing, so be it, but at least you know then you tried everything.

<edit> well, we were posting at the same time....at least I was trying hard to find the right words to put down.

Today.
My daughter just sent the picture from Christmas. I didn't notice how bloodshot her eyes were and how tired she looked until I compared the two pictures.

The only thing different in her little doggy world is that she got two new rope toys on the 23rd. We removed them Tuesday when the liver tests came back. Now I'm wondering if the toys were contaminated in some way and that's what caused her abnormal ALT test.

In any case, she looks better and that makes me happy.

Happy New Year!

She does look much brighter and more alert in the later picture, doesn't she? It's amazing what slips by us unnoticed. Hoping that's all it was ... "all" being a-plenty! Made in China?

We got the toys from Amazon. I looked for a country of origin, but it didn't say. It does make me suspicious, though - enough that we removed the toys and tossed them out. It proves to me that unless it says "Made in the USA", I'm not buying it.

Elizabeth,

Better than Made in the USA is homemade

33 DIY Dog Toys from Things Around the House | BarkPost

I hope Ellie is having a better New Year's Eve than Lily. She is terrified by the sound of fireworks. She is glued to me quivering. I keep turning up the TV to drown out the noise. I might be deaf by morning.

BTW Lily's favorite toy is the empty water bottle inside a sock.

Ohms for Shara. Ohms for Mel. Happy New Year to all. We're about to head for Apache Junction. Sheesh, it's been a long haul this time.

Good morning mutants and Happy New Year.

Dwayne - hope Shara gets some relief from pain. Who needs an appendix anyway? Omms on high for her and all mutants.

Elizabeth... there is a definite sparkle in Ellies eyes in the second pic. For many years my sweet Aunt Bonita owned and operated a Bonitas Four Legged Friends pet store. She only sold natural and organic foods, toys and such. There are lots of high quality, safe items for our fur faced family out there. Couldn't hurt to investigate.

Safe travels to all mutants on the rainbow today. Steve - Annie and I have moved our AJ arrival date up. We will be there on the 4th instead of the 9th. Be safe and see you soon.

It's cold this morning, but once again the sky's are blue and the sun is up and shining.

Hope all have a grand day today!
