We've got to be in Austin in time for Christmas 2016 with our grands. #2 is due any minute now!!! Mom and Dad are not saying whether we are going to be blessed with another dgd or will have our first dgs. Does not matter either way to us. We will do our job and spoil them properly - girl or boy!

At any rate, I'm hoping you can recommend a good RV Park in your area where we can spend a week in early December, 2016. This is just an idea right now. Lots of time to make a plan.
Sounds like a good plan. When you get closer (a month or longer) we can figure what your preferences for a park are, like beach, ocean, water, or just a plain ol' campground.

Hancock tires don't ride as nice as Michelin tires but you are right they are cheaper. Moving a tire back is fine as long as you put them together on the same side.

Ok mine was uumm well I think it was in 190poop

Sounds like oboma care.
So we should see you around April. Lol j/k safe travels.
It's okay! I have your number.

CAUTION: If anyone has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and you are thinking of adding balancing beads call your TPMS dealer first. It requires a special TPMS so that the beads do not get into the stem. There are some Mfg's that have a TPMS that can use balancing beads, but it is different than the standard one. Check, check, check.

Thanks.
Does that not mean all of the previously acquired name tags are now obsolete? You must be bored Wayne. I'll email you my info but I think my RVM number will let others know I joined this motley crew in 2013.

After a night of heavy rain Phoenix is once again sunny. YEAH! We are parked less than 50' from an irrigation canal. When I saw that the Phoenix Fire dept. was providing free sand for sandbags I got a bit nervous. This is one time I'm glad we are 18" off the ground.

We are "trying out" some areas, and parks. When we bought our coach we got 14 nights free at any Encore Park....
But learned Encore parks are not necessarily the best... Lol.... And found out the gift card is only good in their standard sites. But even so. 14 free nights are 14 free nights.... No additional fees, etc, so that was as it should be.

This park, Cactus Gardens, is very clean, very friendly, wide paved streets but small sites.... But havent seen the premium side, so that might be better. Great for a short visit, but i would get claustrophobia if i stayed too long..... I really am more of a boondocking in the wide open spaces kinda gal.....

Oh Di, you should visit some of the mega parks in Phoenix. Imagine this: 4 or 5 feet from your slide to the neighbors tree, hedge, fence, or park model; room for your coach; your 7 foot patio slab; room for your car; 6 feet to your other neighbor's tree, hedge, fence, or park model.

You get used to it if a lot of time is spent traveling to see all that the Valley of the Sun has to offer (Musical Instrument Museum, Frank Lloyd Wright complex, casinos, spring training games, hockey and basketball games, gorgeous subdivisions, fabulous foodie destinations), day trips to beautiful venues (South Mountain, Apache Trail w/ boat ride, Tucson, hwy to Payson), or overnight trips by car to beautiful sites that are 3 -5 hours away (canyon, Vegas, dam, San Diego, Mexico, Sedona, Winslow, etc.). Soooooo many more.

One normally does not JUST SIT in the Valley of the Sun until about the 3rd or 4th winter spent.

And once you go inside the coach, you're home sweet home!

We have found the park isn't really an issue if it's just us. Now if you need to have mutants gather - space becomes more important. Day trips, a dip in the pool, etc and just about anywhere is great. Although we have yet to stay in a parking lot. Took a nap once at a rest area about 3 years ago.

Just had a nice conversation with RVM130 - Vince. Great guy and he's looking forward to meeting mutants in Tucson.

Tick Tock.. just a couple a weeks down the road.

CRV-Mutant will get an oil change and tire rotation tomorrow. Got all the bills paodbfor the month (docs and such). Weeded out the collection of RV Park and area handouts / flyers etc collected over the past year last night and this morningm. Trying to get a few other decks cleared so we can get together with the PTJeeps and Papaw and Mary Ann... Geesh, life goes on even on the outer rainbow.

Next up, call a Mobile RV guy. The Norcold / Amish is acting up. Won't defrost and despite moving the thermistor down a half inch a about 5 days ago, the fins are icing up again. It's on 1 and 32 degrees on the lower rack. You can pound nails with a popsicle from the freezer. The opposite problem most have with these things.

It's going to be a call of fix or install the Samsung RF18... but of this can be rectified - I can't see tossing it as it does a great job. Hmm.

Talked to RVM6 - Big Oil Guy - Ken today. We are trying to work out a little curiosity with he and his DW, Jeff and Marcia and Papaw Steve and Mary Ann.

I've been busy since we landed and not accomplishing much lol. We slept till 10 am this morning. With the bedroom doors closed and the MCD shades the bedroom is dark 30 and the sound of rain on the roof it was great sleeping weather.

So Steve - Jeff... we will get to ya soon! Promise.

Yes I did. When I clear all the decks I will. Have to get the laptop out to do it. And for some reason I avoid that. Maybe that's because I spent 27 years sitting in front of a computer. It just doesn't sound appealing lol. Sounds like and is w**k and you know how I feel about that. I will do it as I'm going to have to pull it out to do taxes sooner than later... oh the humanity.
